I think a Souls game could work quite well on Wii U, once the developers don't make a half-assed port of it. I could see incredible potential for Miiverse and this game as well. A petition worked for a PC release of Dark Souls so maybe if the support is large enough we could see a Wii U version.
This game along with The Wonderful 101 and Monster Hunter Ultimate are probably going to be my breaking point next year it comes to getting my Wii U. This game is so damn beautiful!
I dunno, lack of DLC was one of the things I kinda liked about the Wii. DLC sounded like a good idea at first until developers started milking the hell out of it, cutting out parts of what otherwise would've been the full game to sell it for more money later on. At least with the Wii I knew that what I got on the disc was the entire game.

The classic side scrolling Mario games also include Super Mario Bros 1,2,3 and World which were the ones I said you were wrong about. The New Super Mario games series started in 2006, that hardly qualifies them as "classics" in my book.

I'm sure we'll just get details on games we already know about which is pretty much the rest of the launch window lineup. Hoping for a solid release date for Fire Emblem: Awakening, Luigi's Mansion, Rayman Legends, The Wonderful 101 and Pikmin 3.
I agree with her on the more recent New Super Mario Bros games, but before that she's pretty much dead wrong. Super Mario 1,2 and 3 and Super Mario World were quite different from each other gameplay and artstyle wise.

Seriously though, if you're a JRPG fan, I recommend at least trying Xenoblade or The Last Story. They're great games.
