I agree, anyone who likes this type of game will play Infamous instead. Now that game looks GOOD and is great fun as well.

Graphics are perfect, but more importantly, the game is fun as he11 to play.

Most games are under 1GB. In fact Grand Turismo was said to be around 1GB in size.
UMD only holds like 1 - 1.5GB worth of data
I don't really have an issue with the price. Afterall, it is not meant to replace the current PSP - just provide another option.
This is just like a 360 at $299 and the Elite at $399 - just more options for those who want it.
However, I think a PSP GO price of $199 and a PSP 3000 price of $129 would be the sweet spot.
As silly as it sounds, I know its about gameplay in the end, but I just can't get past the Wii's low resolution graphics on a 52" 1080P screen.
Playing my 360/PS3 and then trying to play a Wii game just hurts my eyes and I want to stop playing.
I guess I'm a graphics nerd in the end :)

I am a single player only gamer and a collector. I could care less about multiplayer (although I realize it is VERY important for a lot of gamers).
I prefer a great story that I can get lost in and forget about the stresses of work and everyday life. I have no problem paying $60 for a single player game. In fact, I ALWAYS buy collectors edition of most games and pay $80 - $90 per game and think it is totally worth it. I have the money so why not.

I just watched an interview with the developer on Xbox live, and the dev said that the retail version has the option to stick with the classic controls OR switch to the run n' gun style - this will allow you to run/walk and shoot at the same time.
I agree with you though - RE4 was my favorite game last gen and this is more of the same with such a pretty graphic overhaul. I can't wait for RE5.

Sure the controls are just like RE4, but RE4 was a fantastic game through and through. I too would like to walk/run and shoot at the same time, but I will still enjoy this game.
Not every game has to revolutionize its genre to be enjoyable.
Bottom line is this: If you liked RE4 you will most definitely enjoy RE5. If RE4 was not your cup-o-tea then RE5 will not be any different.
To say the game is broken is a matter of opinion. I personally liked the demo...
I remember in the mid 90s just before the PS1 came out reading EGM for hours. Back then, the magazine was the size of a Sears catalog and there was SNES, Genesis, CDi, 3DO, Sega Saturn, Gameboy, SNK. The mag currently is so thin that it is a shell of what it once was. Sushi-X was great!
There was so much game content. I considered that the golden age of gaming.
EGM will be missed.
Then all PS3 only owners would see how fun this title is and the hate would stop.
I own both systems and wish everyone had a chance to play Gears/Halo/Uncharted/MGS4.
After all, we are all gamers here and gamers want to play ALL of the best games.

I swear some articles and users of this site act like you can't have both systems. People who only have an Xbox and don't want blu-ray is just a round about way of saying they can't afford blu-ray. Why would anyone who is financially capable not want to watch movies in crystal clear 1080P video and uncompressed sound.

I prefer the PS3 controller so I am leaning that way - especially since they both have achievements/trophies.
I'm just a little nervous about multi-plats on the PS3. Oh well, either should be great and reviews will hopefully be positive for both.

I do believe Gears 1/2 are the best graphically on the 360 (they both look beautiful), BUT this level of graphic fidelity only comes from Epic Games - why don't other games using Unreal Engine 3 look this good?
Having both a 360 and a PS3 I can say that Gears is the best looking on 360, but it is not the best looking on consoles. best looking games period are Uncharted and Wipeout HD.
I will have to play through Gears 2 (can't wait BTW) to see if it's graphic prowes...

I like how you give valid reasons for not getting one (not enough time), rather than bash the system. I feel the same way with my 360/Wii/PSP/DSi.
