Great screen tearing galore!
Audiophiles will not be using a PS3 for lossless audio. They will be using an OPPO BDP83 SE or other high end Denon/Integra/Marantz/Etc. source.
Just saying :)
The demo intrigued me to want to play more, BUT the controls, framerate, and auto-platforming killed this as a purchase for me at full price. Maybe at $29.99 or less.
This definitely feels like a game from 2007 - it really needs some technical polishing.
Probably people who are not 10 years old.
"If it were so easy" :)
Sev and Rico ...
Ha Ha just kidding
Best Duo/Group Ever - Pac Man and the Ghost Monsters ;)
I agree with you ME1 was great and I miss the weapon/stat upgrades. Hacking by anyone is lame as it takes away any mystery on what partners to take with you on different missions - in regards to electronics anyway.
ME2 is still awesome, it's just a different game now. I also liked the Mako exploration of ME1. I thought the planets were beautiful to drive around on.
So let me get this straight. You say PS3 is not good for games so Uncharted series, God of War, Killzone 2, Resistance, LBP, Heavy Rain, R&C, etc are all bad games in your opinion?
I own a 360 also BUT only for Halo, Gears, and Fable. That's only 3 franchises! So using your logic, the 360 is not really good for games just for social features like XGC and Facebook/Twitter.
Of course what I just said about the 360 is not true just like what you said abo...
I agree wholeheartedly.
I just like limited editions to add to my collection. I have the money so I buy what I want - nuff said!
Killer Instinct Gold for me :)
However, since this is a RARE title, I would prefer to see a remake on XBLA with a high def upgrade and achievements.
I'm 40 and would still go to a midnight launch for a new console (PS4 or Xbox 720), but for a game I would not.
If I was in my 20's still, then hell yeah, why not :)
"...I don't really understand the console war mentality. Sure I like my PS3 more than my 360, but I still enjoy the 360 for what it is. Maybe if you kids had the money to afford more than one system, you wouldn't be so desperate to name yours the winner of some stupid console war."
I could not agree more :)
Bubbles to you
That was awesome - bubble to you :)
Because it's a preview and PS+ members get early access to previews and betas. It's one of the draws of PS+ if one likes these sort of things.
I see your point, but the iPhone is a gaming device too.
Although reception has nothing to do with gaming.
I have owned every iPhone model, my wife owns the 3G and all of my family and coworkers have iPhones from the original to the 4 and not one has had a single problem.
Just because a few of the minority shout the loudest does not mean there is a wide scale problem. Most of the negative attitudes on her probably don't even have an iPhone.
Besides if you are not happy with the reception - which has been great in my experience - just return it within the first...
My thoughts exactly
My local Sony Style store has Avatar playing in 3D and the colors were bright and vibrant. The 3D effect was very cool too.
All I care about is Dead Space Limited Edition on PS3. And that all EA titles are now leading on PS3.
Don't get me wrong I love my 360 (currently finishing RE5, next Alan Wake), I just prefer my PS3 since I like mostly single player story driven games and so far PS3 has had more of those that interest me.
After playing the demos on both system extensively, I would have to agree with the score from what I have played so far.
The auto-platforming kills this for me as a $60 purchase. I love the story and want to play for that reason alone, but the game plays itself. This is the Dragon's Lair of this generation.
