That would be an interesting concept :)
No Trine.
The US store sucks compared to the Euro one :(
/sarcasm
Good for the Euro store ... they always get the shaft so it is nice to see something there first :)
My guess is that current Rock Band owners never heard of the Beatles.
Maybe, this is trying to tap the casual market?
R&C is a magnificent platformer. One of the best I have ever played after the original Jak and Daxter on PS2.
I LOVE the new box art. Still elegant, yet more modern.
I agree.
I really only want to play online and have it be a smooth experience. I have absolutely no complaints about PSN in this regard. I can get online and play virtually lag-free. At least so far :)
I appreciate your response. Good to know.
The everyone has a mic is a plus (something I wish Sony would have added to the Slim). When I was in the Uncharted 2 Beta, the people talking on mics was annoying because every other word was ... well you know. So PSN has its fair share of idiots too.
See people, civilized conversation about competing services without degrading into mine is better than yours.
I agree with most everything you say except for the Live vs. PSN issue.
If you throw out cross game chat and invites (which I don't use or want to use) how is Live light years better than PSN? I'm claiming ignorance here as I really don't know.
We all know that the 360 is a POS hardware wise, but what I like most about my 360 is Live Arcade. Now that is light years ahead of PSN and is the main reason I bought a 360. I prefer my PS3 overall, but I could not imagine no...
Well said ... bubbles to you.
I too would not want to be bothered while I am getting freaked out in Dead Space. But, if I want Cross Game Chat - I will use my cell phone.
If your impressed by those graphics, then you would really be impressed with Killzone 2 as it looks better than Rage and has a ton of stuff onscreen at all times with a liquid smooth framerate.
You are jealous, mommy won't by you a PS3. I assume you are a young kid by the tone of your posts.
Wow free3Sixty is so jealous.
I will be playing Uncharted 2 this October - as for Rage, who knows when that will make it out. I will play Rage also whether on 360 or PS3 since I have both. Now he is really jealous.
My point (although I was not clear) is that a new IP of any genre is not going to outsell an established IP like Halo - especially Halo which is a juggernaut.
What about all the other 360 exclusives that never sold anywhere near Halo 3 - would they be considered failures then? Of course they would not.
Comparing anything to Halo is just not fair - whether it be 360/PS3/Wii. Halo is in a league all by itself. This does not make other games failures.
Gran Turismo = 59+ million
Halo is a great game - I bought the Legendary and Collectors editions when it came out, but I get board with one game for too long. Let it go man and try something else.
I recommend Dead Space.
Halo is a MEGA BRAND that was backed by millions of $$$ in marketing. So of course it will be bought by the masses. I enjoyed Halo 3 quite a bit (not as good as 1 or 2 though IMO). I've played Killzone 2 three times through and enjoy it more and more each time. Funny, my first play through did not blow me away though. It was the second and third times that Killzone really started to grab me.
When Killzone 3 drops, I will be there day 1 for a purchase. Halo ODST will be a day 1 pu...
I just found a new copy of Wing Commander 3 & 4 on eBay for the playstation 1 and snatched those up quickly - although for a pretty penny.
These games just engulf you and make you realize how simple videogame stories have become in favor of fancy graphics.
Only Mass Effect and Uncharted have brought hope for more great stories in videogames.
That's why it is called a beta!
ND uses feedback from beta testers to refine the game before it launches this fall. Also, there is the leveling system which I assume a higher level makes you more resistant to damage (I could be wrong on that point though).
Anyways, I rarely play multiplayer, but this game has me hooked.
That's cool.
I like going to my local Fry's and looking through their movie section. I can spend an hour or more just looking through all they have.
When I'm done with the movie section, it's off to the games section, and then the TV's. Point is, I get what your saying about looking at all the new stuff.
Your right about the ISPs though - I shudder to think of the fallout.
Have a great day and enjoy a bubble :)
I buy at least 3-4 Blu-Rays each month. About 150 in my collection now.
I like to own movies - I did the same with DVD.
I use Digital Distribution to rent movies, I never go to the video store. I think DD is an excellent alternative to renting, but when it comes to my favorite movies, I want to own the Blu-Ray.
I respect your view though.
Lord of the Ring Trilogy on Blu this November!!!
I have a 52" 1080P 120Hz TV valued at $2500 and I would not be caught dead playing a DVD movie on my system. I spent $2500 on the set, why would I not spend just $5 extra for the Blu-Ray version of a movie?
Oh wait, you have "360" in your screen name - I am talking to a brick wall.
Advice: Take your blinders off and see what REAL High Def is all about.
Yeah Killzone 2 and Uncharted 2 say "hello".
I love how some people act as if GB is indicative of a systems power.
I bought my PS3 for games like Uncharted/MGS4/GOW3/GT5 - not Ghostbusters.
I bought my 360 for multiplats Halo and Mass Effect.
It's good to be a real gamer ...
Now if only Diablo 2 would be brought to PSN or XBOX Live Arcade :)
If I had to choose only one game to play my entire life, Diablo 2 would be it.
I don't play PC anymore - but Diablo 3 will change that :)
