The dual shocks all have the sixaxis motion tech in them... Sixaxis is the name of the launch controllers AND the tech used in each PS3 controller. I think he was saying he'd prefer a small amount of motion controls rather than consoles designed around that feature.
And sixaxis worked great in Folklore, but most people haven't played it apparently.
I don't mind it in the sixaxis (it was great in Folklore), but anything beyond that will probably just be annoying. I don't particularly like the Wii controls as they are right now anyway.
If a few games want to use a specialized peripheral (without going peripheral crazy...Nintendo) I'm fine with that. I don't have to play those games.

The Helghan live on a seperate planet, not just a different town. It would be unrealistic if they had the same weather variations as Earth. It is supposed to be very hard to live their, which is why the Helghast are slightly mutated (they evolved to live their).
There is supposedly different environments, they just haven't shown them yet. Same for the AI. They've only shown a couple of levels, and the AI was likely toned down so people could actually get through it.

Dead Space is relatively easy as well. I got it after about 3 1/2 playthroughs (it would have been less, but I didn't realize impossible mode wasn't unlocked after beating it on easy).
Dead Space is what I'd consider the perfect difficulty for platinum trophies. It isn't impossible, but it takes some dedication.
I only have Uncharted and Dead Space so far. Some games are just ridiculous (like Wipeout HD).
Except Media Molecule already fixed that issue with their latest patch. And they definitley didn't get a free pass. A lot of people were pissed off, and sites like Kotaku featured it multiple times. They fixed the issue because it was causing so much trouble.
Home has also been fixed, but its a Beta anyway, so I don't see how it compares.

The missions are okay, but everything else is just bad. Getting places is annoying. You drive forever through areas that are basically empty except for really nice scenery and people that want to kill you. Every single person in this game is out to kill you (except in neutral zones, but they still want to, they just can't). Cars that pass you turn around to kill you. Every outpost has 5+ people that immediately try to kill you. It just becomes extremely annoying.
It was okay. It was really short, and the multiplayer was broken at least a week after launch (it might even be broken now, I stopped trying).

Yeah, Wipeout is really fun. Unfortunately the trophies in it SUCK. I fudging hate impossible trophies. They should be hard to get and require multiple playthroughs, but they should never be THAT hard.

I actually thought that was one of the most retarded things about the show. They even made it a theme, of sorts (if you noticed the background graphics). I'm all for hot lady presentators, but painting them silver, slapping on wings, and lowering from the ceiling makes absolutely no sense. Why not do a gaming theme instead? Personally I find the Wii's IR really annoying. Turning is a real chore in the shooters I played on the Wii (you go too far and it just stops all together). They probably improved it, but I prefer a regular controller.
Plus, if developers want to release games like that they can just use a special peripheral. I'm sure Namco will release another Guncon next gen (well maybe not, but you get what I mean).
