I think I'll prefer it that way. When real players drive helicopters and other vehicles that can carry personell, they tend to just fudge it up. Most of the time people just spawn camp them and then use them as weapons rather than for moving people.
Plus I don't think 256 players + vehicles would be a realistic thing to have happen. I'm sure it would just cause a huge amount of lag with the amount of fire being layed down and the potential explosions.
I really want to get Blood Omen. I don't even know if it's good or not, but it's the only game in the series that I haven't played.
Of course I could get it on disc, but somehow I don't think I'd ever put it in. Games like that are just a lot more appealing if they are always on the XMB waiting to be played. Maybe that's just me though, I am incredibly lazy.

And KZ2 multiplayer is unique because of its class system, and the fact that they slowed it down a bit. The game modes also automatically rotate, but I don't think it's the first game to do that.
It's not leaps and bounds ahead or anything, but it is definitley very fun. The graphics also help make the experience better.
Those are exclusives/timed exclusives though. I don't think MS would see that type of sales jump from a multiplatform game.
Plus FF will probably be 2 discs or slightly lower quality on the 360 due to it being a port. that and its reputation, makes me doubt it'll see that large a sales spike in Japan.

I'm not saying they are going to release a new console anytime soon, but they will probably try their hardest to be first to market again.
Digital Distribution is not a good way to go. A large portion of the US doesn't even have broadband yet, not to mention the rest of the world. A digital download console would eliminate a large portion of their potential consumers just because they don't have the necessary internet.
Where I currently live I can't get anything over crappy satellite. I would never buy a console that doesn't have physical media when I can order something on Amazon and have it delivered before a gam...

Ueda has made my 2 favorite games ever, and he has only made 2 games. That's a 100% success rate if you were having trouble calculating.

A Shadow of the Colossus 2 wouldn't make any sense anyway. The story doesn't really leave any openings for more colossi.
I liked both games equally, so it doesn't really matter to me. It's probably going to be something totally original either way. I kind of feel like he said it's closer to ICO because he wanted to be clear that there weren't any colossi in the next game.

I think these are just beta features though.
It could be that the level is too small for more people (and they didn't want to spoil any other levels), or maybe they just decided it doesn't work well with more people. I think it will work fine. I really love 3P shooters, and we don't really have a MP one (except MGO, but it doesn't have a cover system like this).

Why? InFamous looks better in my opinion. I can see a better plot in inFamous and more epic battles. InFamous has you fighting people with a variety of different powers (as far as I can tell from trailers). Prototype just has you fighting monsters and slaughtering people. It looks fun and all, but I expect a lot more depth to inFamous.

WTF?! $50 a year is NOT free. Sure you get the updates but you don't use them to their full extent because you have to pay for XBL gold. This is a perfect example.
