The 360 has enjoyed a lot of sales simply due to the fact that they released first. They are also perceived as "winning" this console gen because of it.
I don't think MS is going to give that up. They'll probably be the first new console each generation for as long as they can be. People are still going to buy them despite the shorter lifespan. And that may not even be true since they'll start a new console and force competitors to rush theirs out as soon as they can. ...
They should borrow from Half Life, and have Master Chief show up during some epic fight or something. You just see him for like 30 seconds as he trounces some enemies that you and your squad were having trouble with.
Then he just walks into the sunset...well maybe not that, but you get the idea. Fan service like that would make people love the game.
I know nothing about the Halo story, though, so they could be in two separate time lines, or something.
lol.
You're kind of an idiot aren't you?
There is no way you could be that big a hypocrite and not know it. At least I hope there isn't.
Also, you come off as slightly racist, looking down on "Asains" and all.
Dead Space
Prince of Persia
Sega Genesis Collection
Uncharted
Fallout 3
inFAMOUS
Those are the platinum's I currently have (well infamous I have to grind for a while to get the good upgrades one). Dead Space took me maybe 3 play through's, but wasn't that difficult. I played the first time through with the pistol only, and everything else wasn't that bad (I did use the PS3 armor for that playthrough though).
PoP was basically 1 playthrough ...
First of all why the he11 are we talking about religion on a gaming site, and why the he11 has everyone started to attack Christians?
WTF have we done to you lately? I honestly don't give a sh1t if you're atheist, so why does it seem like every other person on the internet is the Jehovah's witness of atheism? You people preach atheism like a preacher preaches religion, but somehow you're better? When did things like 'thou shalt not kill' become horrible rules to live by? Maybe yo...
Sony showed someone using the motion controller to kill things.
Microsoft showed Natal being used to whack dodge balls and talk to small children.
In my opinion, you can mark that down as a win for Sony.
Until we see some real gaming applications from Natal I'm not buying any of it. Of course, I'll also be waiting on real games for the new controller from Sony.
O.....M.....G
I would buy 10 copies.

Stop copying and pasting that stupid comment.
GAMERS shouldn't care about sales. Of course Sony (and every other company) cares about sales. That's how they make money, which is a companies goal. Marketing (ie: putting reviews on the cover of a game) is how companies can increase sales.
Gamers saying "My console sold the best" is what no one should care about. It doesn't effect us directly, and nobody buys a console because more people have it (at least no ...
Isn't speech recognition a software function? I mean other games have used it before. End War used it recently, and 'Seaman' on Dreamcast used it (although I'm sure it was a lot less sophisticated). I don't think this should really be hyped as a Natal feature.
Maybe that technology is slightly different, but I assume you'd only need a microphone to complete the same functions with the proper software.
I'm really only interested in hearing the gaming applications, and...
I love how everyone screams 'scared PS3 fanboys' at anyone voicing their concerns about Natal, but then I get to this article and there's a bunch of 360 fanboys with absolutely no real arguments.
Why do you guys care so much that the PS3 has good games if you're never going to play them? It doesn't have to be your life mission to try and hide any success that Sony or its developers has.
Actually....
----------------SPOILERS----- -----------
The end of ICO was really supposed to be left to interpretation. I believe Ueda himself said he interpreted both Ico and Yorda as being dead at the end of the game. They left it open to interpretation so that each player could decide on the ending for themselves.
IMO the end of ICO was at the very least a dream sequence. Yorda wouldn't have made it out. She was compelled to stay their for some reason...
Not trying to troll or anything, but what games were announced for the 360 that are even going to make it before 2010? Natal sounds great and all, but if it even manages to make it this year what kind of games can you expect from it?
Most of the defensive people here were saying "wait til E3" when confronted with the 360s lackluster 09 line up. Now that a camera and multiplatform announcement have been made suddenly the 360 is back on top again. Where are the exclusives...
People are talking a lot about how this is 'great tech' but none of that will matter if it isn't implemented well in a good game.
I honestly can't see the capabilities of a technology like this in the core gaming market. I saw some cool examples in the PS3 motion controller sword/shield, flashlight (silent hill anyone?), etc. but Natal showed a wheel-less driving game, a horrible dodgeball game and a skate board game which I honestly couldn't figure out how you would steer, or p...
I was thinking the exact same thing. If people break TV's with a wiimote what will happen with multiple people flailing themselves around a room?
Two player 'Ricochet' just conjures images of people colliding into each other and accidentally slapping each other in the face.
The PS3 motion controller showed someone controlling objects in 3D space. Also the sword shield thing seemed 3D. He was pointing the sword with surprising accuracy.
I'm not saying your wrong or anything, I'm just saying a lot of the power behind something like this comes from the software. Sony is still using the eyetoy to manipulate things in 3D space despite it being a 2D camera. Also I assume the lights on the PS3 motion controller cure the eyetoy darkness issue.
The PS3 motion controller basically works the opposite way the Wiimote does, and that makes it better in my opinion. Instead of aiming an infrared beam at a small reciever, the eye toy tracks lights on the PS3 motion controller.
How much better would that make something like FPS games? I tried playing Red Steel and it was a nightmare. You can't turn too far or the Wii completely loses the signal. That wouldn't happen with this (although that is just an assumption at this point)....
You're going to sell your PS3 if it doesn't get a facebook app? That must be fudging sarcasm.
First of all the PS3 has a web browser, therefore it has facebook. Are you really looking so hard for a reason to sell your PS3? You kind of don't need to give excuses to the internet.
In fact, I think that trying to justify anything you just said is going to make you look like an even bigger idiot, so I think its time to walk away...that's right, turn around and walk away. ...
I saw a commercial for it before Terminator Salvation. I think it may have been an actual preview (by that I mean not 20 minutes before the start) but I don't remember exactly.
I think its only like the second game I've seen advertised that way.
Anyway, I can't wait to get my copy. The demo was awesome and the trailer at the end got me even more hyped.
That would cause way too much confusion.
And the only reason (well..one of them) they called it the "360" is so it wouldn't look inferior to the PS'3'. If they can't trust consumers with Xbox2 vs PS3, there is no way they'll expect us to see that extra 0 (and they're probably right in a lot of cases).
