Halo will never go to the PS3 because MS owns the IP.

Bungie is essentially a second party studio. I would be very surprised if they ever went beyond an MS console and the PC. If they do eventually make games for the PS3 they'll probably be ports made months later, and possibly by other companies (like Valve did).

Actually, you just can't read. Shocky was defending MS if anything.

Anyway, I don't understand why anyone would care one way or another. It's not my money, and they're doing well enough to keep the 360 going.

Nothing special?

Ok cool, can you tell us what it is then? You must know if you can call it nothing special. Please enlighten us.

Or were you just trolling?

I'm going to slip that Halo disc into my PS3 and then eject it over and over again.

Yeeeah...that's the stuff....

Vehicles take a lot of planning/redesign of levels. Killzone may not even be able to do vehicles at it's current graphics and frame rate. It just wasn't designed to have them. Plus, if it was possible there would be like 2 levels that would use it (the ones you'd download as DLC) and it'd get old pretty quick.

Also, if you want modern weapons buy Modern Warfare. I'm all for new weapons, but adding 'real' guns would seem cheesy and a bit of a cop out. The weapons they have now fee...

Actually the 360 came to market EARLY. Perhaps you forgot the low lifespan of the original xbox, or the fact that the PS3 and Wii both came out about the same time the following year. Also, RROD.

Twitter and Facebook are not 'way beyond' the PS3 offerings. Give me a break with that BS. You can buy a fudging phone that does that sh!t if you want it so bad. The PS3 has Netflix too, you just order bluray by mail for better quality and sound. And you acknowledge that the PS3 has a br...

I think it has great applications as an interface, just not for games. The things MS showed haven't really impressed me, and I guess I just have trouble seeing why anyone else is impressed by them.

I've lost like 3 bubbles talking about Natal, but I really don't see it being very useful. The interface stuff is very cool, but the price of the device will likely be pretty steep.

Milo is a cool idea too, but I'm not too sure it will work out. They need to choose a new ...

No, there is no way the PS3 can run that. I have the palm/portable (or whatever) version of Ubuntu on mine.

The Cell is great, but you don't have access to it within Linux. They obviously capped its performance to prevent piracy and the like. I'm not sure how people use it for super computing, but there must be some sort of Sony-sanctioned work around for stuff like that.

For now (at least the last time I checked) the PS3 is only good for a limited amount of OS'. It'...

MS doesn't have enough first party devs to make those games.

And we are all incredibly surprised that games coming out after the PS3 exclusives you listed are "technically more impressive". Can I borrow that time machine when you're done? I'd sure like to get my hands on those two games which only you have played.

Isn't the emotion engine the PS2 chip in the PS3? I have a 60gb PS3 and have played many PS2 games on it, so it already works. I assume you were talking about the rumored future PS3 firmware update that allows PS2 playback?

Also, I find it a bit hypocritical to not trust Sony's word for one small feature, but totally jump on Natal's hype train. I'll believe what either of these companies say when they make a good game out of it.

MS needs to PROVE they are in a diffe...

------------Possible Star Trek SPOILERS------------

Kirk was written as a douche. Seriously, just because he was a great captain somewhere else, doesn't mean he's awesome there (that hopefully only makes sense to people who saw the movie). He doesn't deserve what he gets, he manipulates people and takes it by force. The entire beginning would have really changed everything, but in the end it changes almost nothing.

Also, it was obviously just a launching pad for sequ...

That is a horrible list. I would play 2 of those games, and I'd rather buy a PC to do it.

If you're going to say the 360 "OWNED" the competition, you're going to need to make a more compelling argument.

If you're satisfied with those games, then awesome. Who won what year is just a matter of opinion. I personally prefer inFamous, Killzone, etc., and Sony automatically wins 2010 for 'The Last Guardian' imo.

So call it what it is: "Console Exclusive".

I want to hear you say it...DO IT.

The fact people want to pretend its not on any other platform when it is. The PS3 has them too, but not nearly as many as the 360.

Well the initial explosion wouldn't have, but we'd be like:
"OMG! WE'VE BEEN HIT!!!! KILL EM ALL BEFORE THE REST OF THE MISSILES GET HERE!!!"

At which point someone would push an abnormally large red button, sending nukes to Russia, Cuba, Korea, the entire Middle East, and France for good measure. Also, probably Canada because they talk funny and are slowly killing us with beer and bacon.

By killing almost everyone we'd be sure to hit the person that...

Retailers should pay in some way. It could be some kind of fee to sell used games from certain publishers, like a percentage of the profit. This wouldn't really raise prices for the consumer, since the games would have to be cheaper than the new ones anyway. Gamestop would just have to cut their profits a little.

Consumers would never even feel the impact of something like that. Do you really think Gamestop would pay people even less? They could try. I'm surprised people sell fo...
