Maybe squad commands (which will get old in about 5 minutes) for Halo, but there is nothing anyone would use Natal for in Gears.

How many of you would even buy a game with Homosexual overtones? Almost nobody, that's who. THAT is the reason there aren't any 'gay' games. If it won't sell, why make it? And GTA's DLC doesn't count, they're just going to poke fun at the lifestyle and create awkward situations for humor. Any other game that makes you gay without a choice would likely flop pretty hard.

MS hasn't really shown anything truly impressive. Sure the interface stuff is cool, but no games look even remotely good. I still don't see any good applications for the tech, despite the fact that it is apparently 'super impressive'.
I wouldn't defend it too much. If MS actually pulls off some awesome games, then great. Until then I don't understand what the hype about Natal is.

Ueda is one of the best developers ever (I think he's the best). My two favorite games were made by him, trumping Ocarina of Time, which is not an easy thing to do. He has unique ideas and doesn't just make sequels for the sake of making money. His games are complete when they are released, with excellent story, graphics, and gameplay.

I thought "AAA" (which is a term I hate, btw) meant a great game. Sony has plenty of those. A lot of Sony's games have big budgets too, but I don't think that is all it takes. And 'pushing the limits' might as well be taken off as a criteria, because a lot of theses 'AAA' titles are just FPS games. They aren't exactly innovating.

So somebody trying something different equals complete and utter failure? These developers made a game similar to Heavy Rain before, and from what I hear (although I haven't had the pleasure of playing it) it was a completely compelling and fun experience.
Media Molecule did something that no one had really done before. It was basically GOTY. I think a lot of original ideas tend to pay off and deliver a fun experience.

Edit: I checked on a ps3 trophy site (by updating my Matt Hazard trophies w/o a Platinum and then with 1) and a Platinum apparently adds 180 points (although that seems low if golds are 90).
