well to put it in perspective, only Sony and Nintendo have sold 20 million consoles in a calendar year . Sony has done it three times: 2003, 2004, (PS2) and now 2017 (PS4). Nintendo did it twice with the Wii in 2009 and 2010.

There was a 8 month drought between 1st paty releases on the WiiU. That's not exactly lighting it up. And yes, Nintendo should lose a grade for exiting the console business quietly while masquerading a 9th gen portable as its successor

@ yeah - my kids are the same. I usually don't gripe about gamepads but those joycons are like a block of wood with buttons on it. So uncomfortable, the pro is ergonomic and simply way better. Unfortunately you'll probably have to suck it up and buy 2 pros if your kids love MP or co-op
not true at least for 2018. While they don't equal Sony's output, MS has 7 published IPs coming next year: Sea of Thieves, Crackdown 3, Halo 6, Forza Horizon 4, State of Decay 2, Last Night, and Ori 2. To put it perspective they're a hell of a lot more active than them lazy %$@# over at Valve.

amigo there's like 5 enhanced 360 games. Obviously, we're expecting more titles to be patched, but know this - PS360 era titles look like shit on a 4K set. Gears 2 looks awful compared to an enhanced 3. MS has done a spectacular job with BC (especially those they update) overall. Funny I had the same experience as the author. Bought the 1x, went to family video and rented AC: Origins, Shadow of War, and Wolfenstein II for each system. I feel MS should approach this in a two-pronged attack. Focus half on patching brand exclusives and the other half on securing popular 3rd party 7th gen games. Give the library a robust selection of exclusive and popular titles that might entice people that don't traditionally game on MS consoles a reason to. A) It's portable. Consoles are a static platform. They can be moved but not when playing software.

Bethesda as a developer has been pretty mediocre ever since Ken Rolston left. Todd Howard just copy/pasted Rolston's techniques. Skyrim was old, even before it released. Sorry, I don't give them credit for all the modders out there that not only fix Bethesda's bug-filled glitchfests but also release the most interesting content for it as well
