go ahead and disagree but 720p on a modern tablet is far from impressive. 720/900/1080p upscaled to 4k is even less impressive. The Switch is good for what it does but let's not get ahead of ourselves here. What is the tablet's PPI? 240. That barely exceeds the Vita and doesn't come anywhere as close to current Iphones and Ipads. Nintendo's best chance at success is selling this for $199.
Even worse is the selection of UHD titles available! How'd you enjoy the new Captain AMerica movie in 4K? Tired of watching Dead Pool, the Kingsmen, Batman vs Superman for the tenth time yet? That's what the 360 did better; play multiplats better, for the most part. Now the shoes on the other foot. While better is subjective the amount of exclusives on the PS4 is not. Sony has outpaced MS in first party content . Having both and being a hundred bucks cheaper at launch doomed the One against the PS4.

haha kwiet that's one of my dream collections from Sony. Take a cue from Halo:MCC and remake KZ1, remaster KZ2, KZ3, and Mercenary. Make Liberation HD a pre-order bonus (sold sep too as a digital only). Base the MP off 2 and include maps from each game. I'd also love to see Resistance get the same treatment too but with R1 being the template for the MP, co-op from R2, and PSP/Vita games sold separately digitally.

Depends. If I really like PSVR or MS surprises us with a partnership with Steam, maybe. I wouldn't mind playing tLOU again in cinema mode on the PSVR either. Or Halo MCC in 4K for that matter. If neither impress, then I'll be quite content with the stock models.
for good reason too Angel. I really can't wait until we see how these IPs perform on a Neo. I knew despite assurances from Sony execs, there were going to be some issues running VR on stock PS4s. I do think the Neo will provide a great entry pricepoint for VR compared to alternatives, especially if one needs to invest in a Scorpio/Occulus combo. Even on the PC, upgrading your GPU and buying a VR headset will cost slightly more for awhile than purchasing Sony's new console, headset, ...
These consoles won't require a 4K TV though. Neo will play games @ 1080p60FPS. I'm guessing it's so any non-VR game can run in PSVR's cinema mode. Remember PSVR needs 60 FPS as a baseline so reprojection can bump it to 120FPS. I imagine Scorpio will do the exact same thing at 1080p resolutions, 60FPS for the television and 90FPS for Occulus. If you have or plan to buy a 4K TV, the neo will upscale to 4K and Scorpio will render it natively.

Neo isn't meant as direct competition to the Scorpio. It's more akin to the XB1 S. It's a mid-gen upgrade designed to replace launch PS4s. Scorpio is MS's next gen console. MS' PR marketing has successfully clouded this issue by bringing all this BC compatibility w/ software and hardware into the equation. But ANY console built with x86 architecture can do this. you'll enjoy the campaign of the new one then. Including the optional side missions I believe they are 31 missions in total. I played the game on veteran so it skews my play time, but it's far longer than a 5 hr ride this time around. Especially if you like aerial dogfighting (quite a few sides involve Ace Combat inspired battles in your Jackal).
