The game didn't exactly light up the sales charts though. How do we know this? Because like LA Noire, we got a remaster nobody asked for. Next up: Ghostbusters.

A mini Switch is the difference between Nintendo selling 75 mil & 100 mil this gen. Sales would explode this Xmas if a $199 mini/pokemon bundle hit. They'll be great anyway but this package would be DS/Wii levels of hype in Japan.

Not gonna lie, gonna miss that new Housemarque arcade shooter that heralds in a new console from Sony next year.

I just platinumed DQ11. Took me close to 250 hours. If I played this on the Switch there's no way I would've spent that time grinding all the chars to lvl 99 for in-game accolades. No time spent on horse racing or casino gambling post-game. I even grinded seeds of skill for all 8 heroes (that should've been a gold trophy lol) so I completely agree trophies extend a game's length. I've never understood Nintendo being stubborn about their inclusion. They'r...

been sayin this for ages. Look for the mini to be launched this holiday with the new Pokemon game. It makes too much fiscal sense. I wouldn't worry about the non-detachable joycons. It's pretty much the biggest price reduction they could do with the form factor.

No, he actually ponders whether the entire industry could support it, not just his company. He is of the belief that interactive media (video games) shouldn't be lumped together with passive entertainment (music and film). He basically stated that by and large most consumers generally play 1-2 titles a month. Data has shown consumers utilize passive entertainment subscription services far more frequently. More consumers may not find the inherent value in it; thus...

really sad they chose this piece of irrelevant info given the topics Mr. Zelnick elaborated on. Solid interview which will undoubtedly be broken down into several articles over the days. I can see them already, "Take-two CEO thinks subscription services like Gamepass may not be the future" or "Sony, Nintendo, and other big publishers are failing E3 says Take-two CEO"

your post made me cringe thinking about the same 10 voice actors in Oblivion. At about the 50hr mark,I hated the guy with the principal tone

doesn't it use the same format, products, and services as the regular Switch though, minus the Joycons? My argument is more about perceived value. A "mini" Switch wouldn't negate the perceived value of its big brother. No one who bought one in the last 2 years will feel slighted by Nintendo introducing a more portable unit with less features than the original. To put it in context, I don't know anyone who felt cheated buying the OG PS3 in contrast to the slim they introd...

I have no idea. But it is Nintendo's flagship device for the next several years. Whatever they release will be the primary focus for the company. If you don't like Nintendo's offerings; simple, don't buy any gaming devices in 2019. That's my recommendation. Catch up on your backlog instead. PS4 is obviously trending down with a new console imminently on the horizon. My point is if you haven't already purchased a PS4 by now you shouldn't. $300 for 18 months isn...

you probably should wait. The only device I would recommend buying in 2019 is the Switch. There won't be a new device from Nintendo for 3-4 years. If Sony's endless parade of top notch exclusives haven't coerced you into buying a PS4 in the past 6 years then surely you can wait another 18 months. Just make a list of PS4 titles that intrigue you and buy them for pennies on the dime next gen. At the very least wait until Xmas when you probably can snag a PS4 slim for $200 (I'm e...

Or you could just wait a few days/weeks for the incoming patch. If playing on the go was indeed your primary reason to purchase it for the Switch

For me, I can't seem to get past the fact this REALLY isn't a Lovecraftian game. They just heavily borrow from him. Plays more like their mediocre Sherlock Holmes games with wonky combat mechanics thrown in. Must've had to save a few pennies by not licensing the source material. Oakmont instead of Arkham? C'mon

and Alliance isn't an old PS2 carcass being dragged back into the limelight because the Switch can't handle anything modern? Zero innovation to the gameplay since 2006 and you call Avengers relentlessly generic? Comedic gold.

I'd bank on $499 USD Neon. They both know anything over that is a tough sell. We also know given the vague details and Stadia's official specs they'll be somewhere between 11-14 teraflops consoles. With custom SSDs it wouldn't shock me to see both companies already taking a $100 loss at launch.

I also wager we see a launch somewhere around November 5th, 2020. Why release in early March (Majin's link proposes either March or November) when you can stockp...

my son said it best - they showed more actual gameplay of Gears Pops than Gears 5 and Tactics combined.

Sucker Punch screwed the series by choosing the "good" ending as canon. Infamous 3 could've been exquisite if Cole ***SPOILERS*** had wiped out 7 billion on the planet. Absolute power corrupts absolutely, Cole should've been the antagonist or at the very least a tortured soul seeking redemption as he became the Beast. Far more interesting concept with intriguing story arcs but they played it safe with banal tropes of the modern political climate.

red, seriously? I'm excited to watch the MS conference, and that's it. Can't stand current offerings from EA, Bethesda, and Ubisoft so those shows I'll be avoiding. Ugghh, I'm still tormented by the hideous screams of Bethesda girl. Screw Nintendo as well. Biggest trade show in NA and these cheap asses want me to watch another 15 minute Direct but stay tuned to the treehouse for the next 18 hours to see actual gameplay and interviews? But only Pokemon and Mario Maker 2....

Can't believe you even asked me this after blabbing on about mod support. Answer? Source engine says Hi. Look up the history of Gary's Mod. <-- Therein lies the beauty of Source. I don't give credit to a company that releases buggy, unfinished games and depends on the modding community to finish what they started. Scale shouldn't matter since Bethesda takes roughly the same development time that Rockstar does. 5 years between major releases and th...
