Had it been called WiiHD and released in 2011 they would've capitalized on the Wii's success and the system would've fared much better. there's no more traditional consoles coming. Moving forward portability should be their main priority. Nintendo has had one successful product in the last 25 years in the traditional space. Sony gets the lion's share - 70% as they are both developer and publisher. MS gets 30% as the platform holder. MLB probably gets royalties depending on total sales but the deal itself was negotiated long ago. They get licensing fees.
