IMO, everyone wins since AC: Brotherhood is going to be one hell of a game.

Not dissing any of those games since I've played and loved all of them except Fallout: NW, but from what I've played of Fable III, it definitely has more varied gameplay than Heavy Rain and inFamous.

...a lot of people seem to feel disconnected from the game. I actually feel the opposite. The choice I had to make at the start of the game made me feel responsible for the events that were to unfold.

Bear in mind, I haven't finished the game yet (huge back log of games) so I'm not sure what happens after reaching Bowerstone. Although, after playing the Fable II again, I was pretty shocked at how bad Bowerstone had become. So, now I'm eager to restore it to its pr...

...from most video game scripts because there's just not enough source material to work with. The pacing alone would be tricky to get right since, as you mentioned, 'how do you fit a games worth of time into a typical 2hr movie?'

A lot of times, games are what they are because we let ourselves be the character. We care about the character because we are the character.

In film, you can't do that so there's that immediate disconnect between ...

Do you live out your creepy 'Silence of the Lambs' fantasy in your darkened basement.

BTW, the goggles work great. It just needs too many batteries. Haven't tried the RC yet though.

I've always enjoyed the COD games, including MW2. Felt the SP was a lot tighter than MW1. A bit cheesier, like subsequent seasons of 24, but still an adrenalin rush.

From what I've been hearing, Treyarch have done a great job on both the SP and MP.

I'm kind of surprised that Jimmy Hopkins from Bully is on one of the covers. Nice to see that game getting some love.

I'm Australian and I've preordered the Signature Edition!

No SLS for me I guess...sigh

The game required patience...lot's of it. I spent most of my time playing it by avoiding enemy patrols and strategizing how to infiltrate bases without attracting too much attention.

There's nothing like manoeuvring your boat down the river at night to avoid patrols on the road only to hear a river patrol coming your way. Hiding in the water until they passed was one of the most tense moments in the game.

A lot of people got bogged down since it really wasn't an open world game but I felt the city added to the atmosphere of the game. Although, the story wasn't as impressive as the first game it was still a fun experience.

As for the author of the article, he obviously only played the console version of the first game. It came out on PC first and it played like a charm.

That's just WRONG.

It's the combination of excellent game mechanics and immersive story the makes those games amazing.

Deus Ex, in my opinion, has the most believable and interesting story in gaming history but it also had superb gameplay to back it up.

...a lot of parents are uninformed when it comes to what is inappropriate for their children.

When I was growing up, the most heinous game for kids was probably Leisure Suit Larry. It was a lot easier back then to know what was inappropriate for children - sex. Violence wasn't such an issue since it was so pixelated and unrealistic.

Now, it's commonplace for games to contain some kind of sexual reference, drug reference and/or graphic violence. Adul...

Who knows, if minors aren't able to get a hold on mature rated games, maybe our online experiences would benefit from this proposed bill.

The proposed bill is for the prevention of the sale of violent and mature rated games to minors. What exactly is wrong with that?

Kids shouldn't be playing games that deal with adult content such as violence, sex or drugs, period.

EA probably saw the quality of 2K11 and realized their game wasn't competitive enough. Kudos to them for pulling the plug because now, I'm hoping, they will retool the entire franchise for the better.

Hopefully, they give the NBA the same love and attention as FIFA.

From what I can remember, Anna and Gunther were just soldiers spliced with machines and metal - Gunther even complained that he needed an oil change!

...yet you champion Kinect Adventures, which could be fun, but essentially just a collection of mini-games.

I'm sorry but the only person you are owning is yourself. Don't play sales, play the games.
