...how about EA put Chris Kaman on their cover and see how much that sells. As good as Kaman is, I'm sure people prefer a marquee star who doesn't look like a lumberjack psycho killer.

Either way, Jordan or no Jordan, 2K wins hands down in gameplay.

If anyone is looking for a great sci-fi, film-noir detective story you'll find it in Deus Ex. The universe is so rich, in character and history, that you can't stop playing.

One thing people forget to mention is the game's music. Probably the best video game soundtrack ever.

Now the dilemna is whether to get this for PC or the consoles? Played the original on the PC, but, now I'm wondering whether the third installment is more suited for the consoles.

Either way, as long as they don't skimp on the details that made Deus Ex the classic that it is, I think we'll have the game we've all been waiting for, these past 10 years.

I was almost going to import this from Japan and suffer whilst trying to interpret the text, but, now I don't have to! I've been busting to know what happens to Kyle Hyde, Mila and the other characters who had a few loose ends.

...as long as he continues to design games that have his unique vision. His games are among my favourites with titles like Day of the Tentacle, Psychonauts and Grim Fandango. Brutal Legend was fun, the music was awesome and it was funny as hell!

XBLA/PSN are probably better platforms for Double Fine. It can give them more freedom to create something unique without an enormous budget and publishers cramping their style.

Never seen those before, the tech looks great. A bit pricey at the moment, but, it looks like they work really well.

Deus Ex was excellent and tops my all-time list of great games.

Anticipation for the third game is probably not as high as this article suggests, but, I'm sure there's a huge number of gamers from that era who can't wait for this.

The game was a defining moment in gaming history.

Now I finally can! I always wanted to play the games but for some reason I missed out on them. What's the gameplay like and when is this coming out?

EA needs to put in same the effort and attention to detail with the Live(Elite)series as they do with FIFA series.

Another plus for 2K11, Jordan is back... along with other legendary teams. If that's true then it's 2K for me again.

It's a multiplat title mate. Get your facts straight and please don't use this game for your fanboy delusions. If the game turns out as good as the first, it'll be gaming heaven for everyone.

I sure hope so. I read that article from Game Informer a couple of months ago and I have been tracking the game ever since.

If the "MotionScan" tech works out well, we'll hopefully see some games where character interaction actually means something.

Can't wait for this!

... Alan Wake is a good game, a great game even. Alan Wake did a lot of things well. The story setup was great and the game's setting was a huge success - Alan's cabin location in the beginning was both beautiful and creepy.

It's just, as a psychological thriller, it felt lacking. A few touches, like the cheesiness and lack of subtlety, took me out of the immersion. The game felt more like Resident Evil, a game which I also enjoyed.

Like you sai...

Nice read, interesting how the developers' ideas evolve from inception. Nice to read where their inspiration comes from too.

Getting a "Connection Error" when your team has plundered 4/5 times in the 18th minute of a tightly contested 20 minute game is infuriating. Like you said, this happened to me maybe once before this June. Now, it's still a rare occurence but when it does, it happens in bunches.

And I was disappointed with the game. His running narrative was pretty cheesy and the game lacked the subtlety that I enjoy in thrillers.

That said, I think I came in with unbelievably high expectations for the game that touts itself to be a psychological action thriller, when, it's actually more of a survival horror.

I guess I was hoping for more of a Dark Seed or Eternal Darkness vibe.

Pissed me off every time he opened his mouth to say "ORIGAMI"

Actually, every interaction you had with Blake made me want to strangle him.

I'm pretty patient when it comes to MP and I do prefer teamwork over lone wolf techniques - I guess that's why I'm interested in the game. Thanks for the info and bubbles to you mate. I'm inching closer to getting the game now.

I have not played MAG yet, so is it too late for me to start now? I really want to get this game but I'm not sure if it will be accessible for newbs like me.
