... I'm one of the poor saps who bought it for $69.95! Sigh...
Or have you seen some videos on the internet and based your entire opinion on police solely on those videos - whilst remaining totally ignorant to their positive contributions to society which, sadly, do not make it to youtube.
...there was no throw or body slam, just a simple wrist lock takedown to restrain an uncooperative drunk who was causing trouble for the store.
I don't get some people's attitude towards cops. Most of them are doing their job in ensuring people's safety. Most of you have probably never even been in contact with a cop - unless they were chasing you coz you racked up 4 wanted stars.
...and that kid is a beacon of light in our society. Grow up mate!
...resisting arrest so the cop took him down with a wrist lock. Not a hip throw or a body slam, just a simple wrist lock to make him comply. That's not even close to police brutality. The cop then restrains him calmly and safely. All I could see was standard law enforcement training applied practically.
Oh, and EvilBlackCat, if you handle your alcohol as badly as this kid does, you deserve to be called a douchebag.
... I still can't resist buying this!
A little of topic, I wonder if it's possible to get an Okami HD remake? With the Move and HD, I think it could potentially be even more awesome than before.
...hypocrisy is rife in N4G.
...until I got my copy.
...kinda like Peter Griffin
...a bad acid trip! Or a good one!
...and lol to WIIIS1 for being a sneaky troll.
...checked out yoostar. It acutally looks kinda fun, so thanks for the link.
This is for the Chidori:
You don't actually care that your ONLY console of choice could possibly devolve into a vapourware receptacle?
That's just sad mate.
I don't know about you but I'll be playing Reach and Fable 3 in the next few months. You can tickle your little baby tiger and enjoy your sales.
...just did a search on it and apparently it does exist! Fingers crossed it's improved from the Wii version.
He's constantly over-promising on his games and he delivers on about half of those promises. I admire his ambition and passion for his craft, but he's a bit of fraudster.
...is the best tennis game I've played so far. There were multiple controls schemes for different types of players - racquet only control, racquet and movement control, motion plus etc.
If Virtua Tennis can replicate that, it might turn out well. A great roster of current and past players plus a healthy character creation could really push this further. From the footage I've seen, it looks a little awkward - the step forward/backward function to control net/baseline ...
...but if they were to increase the subscription fee, for essentially the same service, those same people would get upset.
I've been playing WoW for a few years now and I definitely would be opposed to a price hike, no matter how much I value the product.
People value the Xbox Live service and will happily pay for it, but the issue lies in the price increase for, what is currently, the same product.
If we don't raise our concerns and ...
...Got myself a good copy of Discworld Noir for PS1 and it's a damn great game. No multi, clunky controls and fugly graphics but the story and dialogue is top notch. Most of today's cliche ridden stories are pretty much forgotten as soon as the next game is out.
BTW, I think everyone who bought Deus Ex still has it installed on their PCs.
I'm in total agreement with you: the GOTY award is purely a personal decision. There are just so many high quality games out there that it becomes very hard to make a single choice. Halo: Reach, God of War III, Mass Effect 2, Red Dead Redemption...the list goes on.
That being said, I think the Game Developer's Choice Awards deserve a special mention as it acknowledges only peer recognition. The GDCA awards are given by distinguished game industry veterans (Ray Muzyka,...
