...but Team Bondi still have to be held accountable for not being able to provide the game in a reasonable time. I know there's new tech involved and this may have caused some of the delays, but good management can overcome that and provide a quality product that falls within the scope of the project.

I don't want my games rushed out but for an investor it's unacceptable to see a mismanaged project delayed, time and time again, further wasting their finances.

...couldn't stop levelling up my weapons and items. The grinding was ridiculously addictive and it was infinite.

Although the orginal game's sales will probably prevent an HD makeover, if we make enough noise maybe they'll do it!

...is more freedom for developers to come up with new and fresh ideas. It's a big "if" since the bottom line for publishers is sales, but if the production costs are kept low, then developers could perhaps justify a little experimentation and think outside the box.

Unfortunately, our wallets will still be stretched thin...

...I haven't seen many creative/unusual ideas from this gen aside from the indie games. Sequels are the norm now and it seems to be getting worse. What are the most anticipated games in the coming year? Killzone 3, Halo: Reach, Fallout: New Vegas, Gran Turismo 5, Fable 3... the list goes on...

Not saying they're bad games(coz they're all awesome) but something new and refreshing would be nice. Now that motion controls are coming out, I think the situation may get ...

... I understand what you're saying and my PS3 is the hardest working console in my house at the moment.

But what about the people who can't afford everything out there? Or the people who save for that one awesome game they've been waiting for the last couple of years so they can play the hell out of it.

You can't just dismiss those guys. They're every bit the gamer that you or I proclaim to be.

...I've invested many hours in inFamous and even read the comics. I've gotten to know Cole as a character but I could understand Sucker Punch's reason for altering his looks.

But the first redesign was just a slap in the face for the character's fans. It wasn't Cole anymore. He was, as Sucker Punch described, "an extreme sports star like Travis Pastrana, Tony Hawk...with superpowers."

Forget the last fight between Cole/Kessler an...

The Game Developers Choice GOTY award.

Given by industry peers, not some internet fanboy or a site looking for hits.

... but where do we draw the line in terms of defining a game as an RPG? If we loosely use the "role playing" term, almost any game can be called an RPG.

For instance, while playing Limbo, I was completely absorbed in my character's plight to survive and save his sister. In GOWIII, Kratos' untamable anger made me want to tear mythological gods to shreds. Alan Wake, along with his douchiness, pulled me to find his abducted wife and save her from the dark pres...

I'm hoping they add a co-op mode for the sequel - if there is one. I really enjoyed the latter levels where Alan had a little help from some friends. Plus, Barry was a welcome comic relief from Alan's overall douchiness.

...that's pretty much the target audience. Kids and people who want to sing, dance and exercise in their living rooms. Nothing wrong with that, as long as I can still play the tradional way.

Secondly, this video is absolute rubbish!

I mean, what's the point of playing FPS games like Half Life 2 on Kinect if you still need the controller to navigate.

Kinect will probably need a gun peripheral and a sub controller(for movement) to make it work for FPS and 3rd person shooters.

Kinect has tremendous potential for the casual market but, from what MS have shown so far, it's extremely limited for the "hardcore" gamer...

It was a stuttering mess every time I tried it to play online. However, I've always felt that multiplayer for sports games were best played in the lounge room with a couple of friends. It's always fun to trash talk your best mate while having a couple of beers together.

At the same time, if you browse through the user-created content, such as players and teams, an astounding amount contain Michael Jordan, the Bulls or players from that era. So, it makes sense for 2K t...

Tonnes of atmosphere and action in the clip. I might stop watching these clips, too, so I can start playing fresh. I don't want to hear any story elements like I did with Red Dead Redemption.

...everyone has different tastes and interests. That's why there's 1000+ cars to choose in the game - it's too bad there aren't any trucks. I'd rather ride a Yamaha YZR-M1 but there aren't any bikes either.
