Yes, although, if I'm not mistaken, it was remade on the Gamecube so maybe that'd be a better choice for younger gamers.
Classic game that I played through again just a few years back on emulator. Perfectly legal before anyone cries foul, since I own the original disc and console still :)
Am really surprised, but also really happy, with this news. The original game somehow managed to be fantastic, despite its faults due to needing more time in the oven.
I'll have to check out Hardsuit Labs to get an idea of their pedigree.
'Unplayable' is a bit harsh, no? I doubt it would have achieved the long time love of so many fans had it been unplayable.
Personally, I played through it just fine on release. The Bloodlines played so differently (Malkavian was almost an entirely different game compared to Brujah) I went through it three times; twice when it was released and then again with mods about 4 years later. It's rough around the edges, sure, but then again I've been playing game...
Blimey, Epic are getting aggressive.
I don't know anything about this game but I am excited about Phoenix Point, a new Xcom type game by the original creator Julian Gollop.
Anyway, he did the kickstarter, got loads of funds, allocated GoG and Steam keys and now, 6 months from launch, has signed a year exclusivity deal with Epic. People can get a refund but yeah, there's still lots of pissed off gamers on the forums.
What is this trash article? It's not even a preview or 'pre-review' as it says. It's like he's just some guy whose looked up the differences in mechanics and then wants to create a slightly sensationalist opinion piece. It's hard to tell if he's even really played Sekiro. He then goes on about how Bloodbourne is almost perfect and therefore this game won't be as good.....well, possibly, maybe. What sort of pointless speculation is this?

Now hold on a second! I really enjoyed the first game and am excited for this sequel but I hope they're not doing a Peter Molyneux here :)
They said the same thing about ME: Andromeda before they cancelled future content. Granted, Anthem is from the A-Team, was in development for 6 years and is multiplayer with things for people to keep spending money on but, in the end, I think it'll fizzle out sooner rather than later.
EA are probably waiting until they've recouped as much money as poss and then will drop it fast. I'd imagine a sequel is right out of the question too. I think Dragon Age is gon...
Nah, I disagree. Just look at some of the games people have mentioned in this thread.
Some studios will always make AAA single player, especially if there's less competition due to other big companies like EA chasing the online only, micro-transaction model. They know there's a market for it and there always will be, therefore there will always be AAA single player. Who wouldn't make games people are eager to buy? I like Hennig but I think she just said th...
Well, I'm not sure what qualifies as a hit but, given that I like what I have seen and that it is one of the genres of game that I usually really like, as long as it averages 75+ (preferably 80) on metacritic then I'll wager I'll really enjoy it.
Still, it might have a hard time reaching 80 since I'm sure they'll be reviewers who are just tired of open-world games, zombies (yeah, I know they're actually freakers) and the mixture of game mechanics ...
This is ridiculous. While the extent of censorship here isn't extreme, it's the trend and the thinking behind it that bothers me.
I know non-gamers often have a hard time accepting video games as legitimate creative works, or even 'art', but you would have thought a company that is actually in the video game business would have no such confusion. Yet Sony seems to have just that and I say that as someone who loves what they have done this gen.

Hmm, that's a shame and also somewhat suspicious.
I mean it's not always the case that a game without pre-release reviews is bad but on the other hand it has been the case a few times and doesn't exactly signal confidence from the publisher.
I trust From Software but this is a new IP so I guess I'll wait to see what the playerbase thinks.
Is it just me or does the guy with black hair look like Kylo Ren/Adam Driver?
This is one of the most uplifting statements from a dev I've heard in recent times.
Devs need to make games as they see fit and let the market decide if it's successful. They shouldn't create games in a climate of restrictive worry/fear just because a vocal minority of activists/sjw game reviewers will be offended. Those people aren't likely to buy the game anyway. If they were, Battlefield 5 would have been a raging success.
I can only...
Ooo, I wonder if EA would let them buy the rights for Dead Space :)
It depends on what opinion you're talking about.
Imho it was, at best, slightly above average when you take all parts of the game into account. It was a very uneven game though so I certainly wouldn't say it was above average right across the board. I couldn't enjoy it enough to finish it, let's put it that way.
So, given that individual opinions are all subjective, I'd only say people may have been wrong if they tried to say that th...
Jesus, is it a slow news day or something?
If you're enjoying something, it's almost certainly not a waste of time. Besides, the whole 'waste of time' thing could be aimed at pretty much all hobbies, except possibly those that keep you healthier. But hey, sport and video games aren't mutually exclusive so where's the problem?
Holy crap, that's some expensive season pass!
I'd imagine it's exactly as sexualised as it wants to be, as per the developer's goals, and all games should be as the developers intend.
It's their game after all, the creatives should be allowed to do what they want and the market/consumer will decide if it will be a success or not.
Nothing. We'd all care about the only thing we ever care about - is it a good game?
Having said that, why not simply make a new franchise with a female goddess protagonist? After all, Kratos is popular because he's...well, Kratos. Having invested so much time into his character and having had the last game leave so much unanswered, why would you suddenly switch him out the franchise?
The whole question is just dumb and, I'm guessing, prob...
Many people feel it was possibly the best in the series but I imagine it'll be too long in the tooth for most folks now.
