BF3 holds nothing against this. If only BF3 comes with mod tools. :(
I agree. Though if someone ported the original Operation Flashpoint missions over to the Arma II engine I'd been all over it. The story from OpFlash really pulls me in, as opposed to the Arma II story which I can't remember a single detail about and it wasn't that long ago since I beat it.
If "new" experience means "streamlining" aka dumbing everything down then no. Other wise yes.
Home consoles get zero battery life.
Few people here even know what Muttrah City is if you aren't specific. Also VERY few gamers nowadays have the patience of a Project Reality player. 64 players is waay too little for a map like Muttrah City for a mainstream game.
I do love Project Reality though. If you are patient and you drop your obsession with K-D ratios the experience is way more satisfying than any shooter out there.
That's like saying don't blame the bunny hoppers. blame the ppl who can't shoot them.
I thought the story was pretty cool, but only on first playthrough. When I try playing through it the second time for for the DX11, I found that I was already dragging myself through the game and just stopped 1/4 of the way through. Crysis 1 however I've played through at least 3 times with no problems and that was much longer game.
Hmmmm... In one of the BF3 videos there's a snippet of the player and two other guys wearing casual cloths and a backpack and holding Russian weapons running around on the streets of what looks to me like London with a dozen police cars everywhere and bombs setting off. What could that mean? hmmm...
Story was pretty good the first time, but I just can't get myself to play through it more than once. Crysis 1 however, I played through it at least 3 times.
It's just that Crytek didn't even bother with preventing the cheaters. first couple of weeks even piraters were allow to play online.
What I don't like about most Stealth games is the trail-by-error nature. Hitman does stealth right. If you mess up in Hitman, you can always improvise, instead of autofailing and having to restart in most other stealth games.
It's a vast fan base. Don't know about the "wide array"
It's because ur opinion doesn't make sense. Your "reason" doesn't explain why you don't game on a PC, as you can just as easily hook up gamepads and TVs to a PC and game from you couch as consoles.
I made a +bubble vote for u because I'm in a good mood.
Custom factory built PC, that can't be cheap. If you'd built that your self that'd be like $100-$200 dollars cheaper
That matters little when the animation only happens for a split second.
Why are you getting so defensive? Where in any of my comments did I mention either BF3 or COD?
You want drop shooting to be in this game?
@Jeff
Hey, I'm just tellin it like it is. If makin a game more fun means dumbing it down for you, then...okay
Wow they really need to make the transition from standing to prone and vice versa slower. It's almost faster than COD in this video.
DRM "lessening" pirating doesn't make sense at all. It either stops pirating completely or have no effect on pirating at all.
