Looks like it's designed for a touchscreen handheld. You don't want this on a home console unless you want to walk up to your TV and touch it
Nobody remembers the destructable bonus assets like artillery gun batteries, uav consoles etc and the complete set of squad options like custom name, invite, kick, lock, drop command markers etc?
So only US and RUS factions?
The general publisher mentality nowadays is that if you want the game to do well, it needs to appeal to "the masses" aka CoD fans.
It's fine and all when it's their ideas that their putting in, because I trust that they do have some good ideas. It's NOT fine, however, when these "ideas" come from the publishers or "the masses" because all "the masses" want is Call of Duty and all the publishers want is something that does as well as Call of Duty.
Yup you can leave the scope sl ot blank and they'll let you us e the ironsights. The scopes ha ve more of a designated marksma n range though, so it's powerfu l enough for medium-longranges while still low enough for clos e range engagements, so I perso nally wouldn't leave those off.
Looks kinda like F1 2009 handling to me. Twitch and waaaay to light.
Pretty disappointed at how the shift lights and stuff aren't on the wheel/cockpit, and how the handling looks so twtichy. They need to add gyroscope/accelerometer steering. Maybe touch pad brake and throttle control too.
It's what capitalism's all about.
Your forgetting all about mobility, size, recoil, ammo capacity, stopping power, muzzle velocity, sound levels, ammo size, easy of operation, etc. etc. In real life balance is a very small issue when it comes to the weapons them selves. It has a lot more to do with tactics and surveillance/intelligence.
night and day man
Real Life has nice graphics and all, but can you drive a car you're never gonna be able to afford in real life to it's limits without regard for the law? Or even as much as touch a single hair on a person without running the risk of getting sued?
All Project Reality needed was authenticity. Balancing was never an issue. So this is true.
Is everyone forgetting about the bonus assets? like UAV terminals, artillery gun batteries, bridges etc?
I wish people would stop caring about how BF stacks up against CoD quality wise or sells wise. People should be more concerned with whether or not it'll blow BF2 out of the water.
They are supposed to aim for different markets, with one happening to be a lot bigger. If people makes it seem okay / pressure DICE into beating CoD with BF3 they can only aim for the CoD market, and no BF fan should ever want that.
Too bad symptoms are starting to show though....
If you are guessing then it's speculation. Also there are a lot of stupid rumors out there. I'm sure the memory cut was made BEFORE the thing went public and price announced, so there's no reason to cut the price. If anything the price would've been HIGHER if the specs weren't cut, IF there was a cut.
The ram was cut, if there was one, beforeon early in the hardware/games development. All the games shown were running on the final specs and they look amazing. It wouldn't make sense to change the hardware right after all the games go public.
Too bad most devs today don't run on vision/passion. They run on money and publisher deadlines.
Lol if people hadn't stopped bitching would you think you'd have to pay $15 for every new CoD DLC that comes out?
LOL noob article. What does he mean "increased playercount?" It's more like a restored player count.
