That watered down IOS garbage needs to stay out of my Vita that's for sure.
I hate EA and Activision, but I like Dice. And what's wrong with BF3? can't be any worse than COD 8 or something. I lost count.
Gamers are getting stupider one generation after another. Games need to cater to the rapidly declining intelligence of gamers especially in this generation.
@ABizzel1
Most of last generations gamers didn't grow up on COD. People actually bothered with games like Operation Flashpoint Cold War Crisis and various flight simulators. These were actually highly regarded, and were considered hard core but gamers took their time with them. Gamers this generation, however, can't be bothered. They grew up on COD. A game like Arma is completely unapproachable for gamers this generation and are slammed for being too difficult. Gamers...
Still got a lot of work to do b4 video games become photo real.
Or as they say, "streamlining"?
This guy's old enough to know that COD 2 existed, so he's mature enough to know what's better, which I can't say for the vast majority of gamers these days.
These are publishers.
Howabout you stop "streamlining?" Only COD can do that at this point with any degree of success at this point. You might get some positive reception with review sites at first, but you turn away all your fans by doing so.
I meant what I said. If you want me to explain it in more detail: BF doesn't need consoles to do well, provided it's a full BF experience.
If they gave us dedicated servers then there wouldn't be any problems with putting in too much money to run their servers. But that would hurt their milking business wouldn't it?
Or maybe...i don't know... maybe dedicated servers?
It's the vid-caps fault
Still uses a lot of conventional stuff for next gen tech like static light shafts and prerendered reflections. Not saying the game wouldn't be fun. Wouldn't be much fun to stick around and stare at some water puddle and see if it reflects in real time or throw stuff at windows to see if it blocks out the light shafts anyways.
@deadpoole
BF3 pre-alpha graphics does lack in some minor areas(lack of shadows cast by flashlight, lack of dynamic light shafts and lack of real time reflections) but soft shadows isn't one of them. I know a lot of gamers nowadays lack the patience but please, this "issue" is easily fixed if you can just spend 20 seconds adjusting a couple of sliders.
BF2's got no 360 footage and that game did amazing.
Looks more like a squad designated marksman class rather than a sniper class to me. No gillie suits, and magnification isn't too high. Nice
So by the way I see the way you said it, I guess destruction is a basic and fundamental thing in a shooter then, since it does nothing to innovate. Where's that basic and fundamental element of destruction in COD??
Gamers this gen made the game popular, vast majority of which are immature and don't know any better.
Prone is not an addition. It's a resurrection.
