In what world is Sony not going to drop the price?
PS4K isn't expensive to make, and the normal PS4S is now already $250 with a game bundled. You should expect the PS4K to be $349 by fall.
Only way Sony keeps its current price is if MS launches the XBOX 2 at $499. Then it would be DOA, and Sony can just keep their current prices (And high profits).
I just expect the PS5 to launch in 2019. 6 year console life with a half-way refresh.
I don't generally like the guy, but he is right in this case.
PS4K will drop to $349 by the time this is out, and frankly this thing ain't much stronger. Considering the lack of games, it shouldn't cost anymore than the PS4K.
I mean and the Fury (close to 1070), and Fury X (Generally stronger than 1070 these days).

The specs are public knowledge buddy. The graphics card's like 45% stronger, and the CPU is 20% stronger.
Considering how few games are on XBOX these days, it shouldn't cost more than the PS4 Pro.
Anyone who thinks it will, will then buy Scorpio and sit down. Then we will realize he doesn't have any games to play on his "Fixed" XBOX.

I mean yeah. This thing is roughly 5x stronger than the X1.
Before anyone sees that as amazing, they should keep in mind that the X1 was (is) woefully underpowered for an 8th generation console (only 6 times stronger than it's predecessor, instead of 12x stronger like the PS4).
This really should just be called the "XBOX Two" or whatever. They can keep backwords compatibility easily, but they need to rebrand and fully upgrade their graphic...

-Uses less energy
-Has more PCIE
-Does everything else besides gaming better
-Still only loses by 5% in gaming
Complete opposite. On average Ryzen is ~5% weaker than Intel. Big deal lol.
Within a year all games will take advantage of 8 threads and that i5 will have trouble with anything but 60 FPS gaming, and even then it will drop to 50 in some scenarios.
Heck I remember 4 years ago when BF4 came out and i5 users were complaining about drops below 60 in multiplayer lol.
Yeah so $170 1400 is about equal to the $195 i5-7400.
Then throw in that it has 32 lanes of PCIE instead of 16, and uses quite a bit less energy. Man AMD is just the CPU to buy once again...

I liked the "Future DIversity" GG came up with in Horizon. Maybe a post-apocalyptic future will have only 1 race or native culture, maybe it will have an odd swirl of all of em. Who cares?

The PS3 had Blu Ray, Wifi, HDD (bigger than 20GB, and you could upgrade it with cheap laptop HDD's), 4 USB's, HDMI, it was stronger, it could browse the web, read SD cards, hook up 7 controllers, and it didn't burn your house down.
Sorry, but $100 bought you a whole lot buddy. Eventually they cost the same too.
I wouldn't be surprised if it was $399. By then the PS4K will be $299 - $349.
