Games will still come to XB1 for the next couple years I would guess, but who knows after that...
LOL "Convergence". So that's what they will call the predictable death of XBOX.
This is what I have been saying to my friends for years:
It just doesn't matter if Nintendo makes a good console anymore. Their network is 2 generations behind, they didn't buy up any studios or lay any groundwork during the dark era of the Wii U (Like Sony did during the PS3), and their brand just can't save them anymore.
It doesn't matter if you have the nicest sword, if everyone else has upgraded to guns...
Another Russian troll attempting to spread misinformation.
I know you guys want to believe that every country is as corrupt as yours, but that's not the case. Get out of the troll farm and throw some molotov's at your Mafia-like government. Otherwises, please leave the adults of the world alone.
Wait what would Xbox UK promote?
Do they have a console for sale or something? If they do I haven't seen any games for it...
LOL mine will. 3 year old Xperia Z3 still lasts 3-5 hours gaming.
Stop buying overpowered phones with tiny batteries.
A couple years?!
Try 3.5 years! And why are we complaining about good long-term support?
In fact my dream would be a complete integration of BF4, BF1, and Battlefront with each other. That way you just boot up the "Battlefield Universe" and play with your friends in whatever time period you feel like that evening.
This disappoints me quite a bit. I thought Sony was (As usual) way ahead of the competition by offering a decent game streaming service that could also act as a back-up if physical consoles start to die off.
But (also as usual) it seems like they under supported it, and got a couple of important things just a little wrong. For instance it was always twice as expensive as it should have been, and it really should have had phone/PC/TV support at launch with heavy marketing....
Dude I think I speak for everyone when I say GTFO!
PSVR is selling incredibly well, mostly because it has ZERO competition.
Well he made the best one in history already, so makes sense lol
Lol what you don't get is that there are plenty of Easy games already.
Making DS easy wouldn't expand the market at all, because the single difficulty makes a unified experience; and therefore community. Multiple difficulties makes imbalanced experiences.
In fact I wish all games just had a single difficulty, at least for the first playthrough. I don't care if it's easy or hard, just make the experience perfect.
What success?
It's not even out yet, and so far nothing is making it seem like this will sell gang busters.
But we'll see, let's talk in 4 months.
How?
The Wii U was the complete opposite of modern technical design. This would be like being impressed that a modern Smartphone is smaller than the DS lol
That was a pathetic defense by Reggie. Let's be honest about his 3 main points:
1) The Wii did well.
And? Besides the Wii, every successive Nintendo console has done worst than the previous one. Also the Wii sold less software than the PS3, and it alienated 3rd parties; setting up the unprecedented failure that was the Wii U.
Bringing up the Wii is just what Nintendo people do when they don't want to admit Nintendo has been cr...
A fundamental misunderstanding of how publicly traded businesses work.
It doesn't matter if Nintendo is technically not "losing a dime". Investors buy stocks to make money over time, not to let it sit there and rot. If investors perceive that Nintendo is on a downward trajectory they will jump ship, and Ninty will lose FAR more than just a dime lol.
Keep in mind that investors have been begging Nintendo to release games on Android/iPhone for ...
lmao hypocrites are running rampant these days.
@Christopher
We truly have a new breed of idiot in our country.
People who would make life worst for themselves just to hold on to their ridiculous ideals...
Erhhh it was only this gen that anyone had to re-buy games. Most previous gens were backwords compatible. This one was just a necessary switch to a more easily programmed architecture.
The XBOX 2 is just another generation of console launching 4 years after its predecessor. Nothing special.
Indeed it seems like PS4 is still narrowly keeping ahead of the PS2.
I still expect it to sell around 100m though. But a higher number of software sales would make it arguably just as successful overall.
I will say though that if they get gamemode and stuff like that working on PC it would be cool. I will always take another 5-10% performance...
