I would like a PS4 Pro with slightly higher clockspeeds and a UHD blu ray player. Price it at $399, and then drop the other one to $349 to get rid of stock.

This isn't new. It's been like this for almost a year now: The PS4 was vastly outselling the X1 in the US in 2016, and it continues to accelerate. At this point it is almost 2:1 per month... IN THE US! Globally the monthly sales are approaching 5:1.

I bet if I ran a game in 480p I could get some Fermi cards to run faster than Vega or Pascal. Products are designed for different things, it is impossible to make something excellent at everything - especially useless things like 720p tests (They have already been shown to prove nothing).
2 years ago I got 2 x 1TB SSD's for raid for $360 total. A single 2TB drive was like $300.
You have to remember that RAM prices are heavily inflated right now, and a 2TB drive should be $100 at most in a couple years.
My hope is Sony will wait till 2019 to release the PS5 with a 5000 SP Navi GPU, 16 - 24GB of HBM3, a 2TB SSD, and a cheap Zen CPU for $449. This would easily do 4K at 60 or even 120 FPS.
And yeah, I hope now that TV's support 120 Hz that will become the new standard for both PC and console.

Enjoy your last-gen ports no one wanted (If people wanted them, they would have bought a Wii U); the rest of us will play Horizon, Spiderman, Bloodborne, TLoU2, Uncharted, Detroit, and dozens of other games that are not on any other console (or PC).
Right now the PS4 is outselling the Switch at over a 2:1 ratio. Typically Nintendo gens are incredibly front-loaded, and so Switch will be lucky to hit 40 million (more likely 30 - 35m).
PS5 will without a doubt launch 2019. That's when AMD's Navi and 7nm will be ready for mass production.
Meh, my estimate for the PS4 is 100 - 110m. That would put it ahead of the PS3 and PS1, but still below the PS2..
This is because I think that while the PS4 will indeed continue to sell gangbusters for the next 2-3 years, I think its sales will plummet the second the PS5 comes out.

PS4 is outselling the X1 3:1 (And it will be 4:1 by next year), and the switch will never pass 30-40m total sales. Playstation played the long game and won the market. They were in it to win it.
Compared to the pathetic XB1, this IS a new generation. It's 6x stronger than the underwhelming XB1, and the XB1 was only 6x stronger than the 360.

Hello Games definitely undelivered a little, but the internet undelivered even more. This game was exactly what they said it would be, it was just not worth $60.
It should have been called XBOX 2, cost $399, and launched with several ACTUAL exclusives. But instead it's just an overpriced overclocked PS4 Pro launching a year late.
