Then just buy a PS4S lol. It's substantially stronger than the Failbox 1, it actually has games you can play on it, and it costs less (and always will because the PS4 costs less to produce than the X1).
Meanwhile XBOX just retired Kinect lol, and they are preparing to wave the white flag once the XBX fails to stop the decline.
The first year they said it was 2008: MGS4, Resistance 2, Siren, Little Big Planet, Rachet and Clank, and Valkyrie chronicles made a mockery of everything on the other consoles.
Heck I didn't even get around to third party games until 2010 because there were just too many 10/10 first party games to buy until then.
Every year since 2008 the press has called it the "Year of the Playstation". LOL Some people are just a decade behind...
So why get the XBX then? Those third party games are on Playstation, and many of them have exclusive/launch content deals with Sony.
For the price of 1 XBX you can get a PS4 Pro with 2 games (and another already included game). Then you will be all set for The Last of Us II and the piles of other Playstation exclusives coming next year as well.
Those 4 people that buy it will have a blast!
I am so tired of people acting like Power is THE factor in success. A console's (or any product's) success comes from a multitude of factors. Support, features, price, AND power all play into it - and the PS4 won on all fronts. That's why it crushed the X1, and frankly the XBX only fixes 1 out of 4 of its issues.
Let's not forget that people acted like being powerful was a bad thing when the Wii was doing so well...

MS really should have just had the courage to call the XBX the "XBOX 2".
Kinect was the entire backbone of the X1, and the XBX is about 6 times stronger than the X1. It should and needs to be a new generation. Otherwise people will just think it's a deluxe version of something from 4 years ago... Just like the Wii U.....

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if it was even more frontloaded and floppy than the OG XB1. It will sell out its initial stock quickly, and then likely fall completely off a cliff in sales.

Relative to its competitors, that was probably 2006 or 2007 lol. 2008 and onwards Playstation commenced a bloodbath on XBOX that still hasn't let up even in 2017.
Lately PS4 has been outselling XBOX above 3:1, and it is ACCELERATING.

It's a year late with no games and AT BEST an overall 20% performance improvement over the PS4 Pro. No FP16, no Primitive Discard, no ARM+DDR3 module for background tasks, and no SATA III!

Good lord. I started reading this and had to stop after seeing the mountain of inccorect information about not only the XBX, but also the PS4 Pro. Neither console uses "off the shelf parts", and here is a real comparison of their graphics power:

FP16, superior geometry culling, extra async compute engines, and the back-up ARM CPU +DDR3 help the Pro.
