I thought "The New Order" was incredibly uninspired except near the end when the story gets really good. Otherwise a 6.9/10 game. Almost a worst version of Killzone 1, and that game got mediocre reviews!
But this game is fantastic. Everything is better - there is a reason it has gotten substantially higher reviews.

PS4, X1, Switch, and heck even the 360 and PS3 completely sold out for weeks when they launched (PS4 was hard to find for half a year).
This reminds me of the artificial limited availability of the Wii U. People would be good to remember that ALL consoles (and even most electronic devices) sell out at launch. That is just how this industry works. But if they don't....Bad news...
Erhhh complete opposite opinion for me. Incredibly fun and constantly entertaining.
They actually do a lot of interesting things with the main character's backstory too, and the acting is superb.
The sad thing is you can't even upgrade the console's internal drives to improve load times, and even if you could it would be limited to SATA II speeds...

You can build something around twice as powerful as the XBX for only double the cost, and in fact it will be a better deal due to cheaper games and no need to pay for the useless XBOX Live.
So it's not even like PC is worse price/performance. You are just paying more for more!

The first XBOX was overpriced and 2 years late, the 360 flat out didn't work, and the X1 was a more expensive and weaker PS4 with no games to play.

I don't agree with everything said in this article, but it's main point rings true: Why is MS even trying?
More half-assed attempts to fix a brand they were never fully behind. Call me crazy but it always felt like the 360 was dumb luck and that MS never really cared about XBOX (And the 360 ended up selling worse than the PS3 in the end too btw). They just wanted "a piece of another pie" and they were willing to burn a mountain of money to get it.
I mean I think the truth is in the middle:
1) XBOX fans need to calm down. I get that you are desperate for resolutions above 720p, but it's not like the XBX is insanely powerful. It's just 1 year newer than the PS4 Pro and more expensive. So yeah it's stronger lol.
2) Playstation fans shouldn't doubt that the new XBX is the strongest console. IT IS. But that's ok lol. It costs more, and honestly the PS4 Pro is more efficient. ...

I think DICE is taking this ultra seriously. They are fed up now that they have launched 2 Battlefronts in a row with bad reviews.
