The gameplay is superb, and I put hundreds of hours into its fantastic online mode.
I played it for the gameplay. Find me another game that has perfect pacing and is truly a survival game where every single scrap counts.

I like a somewhat wide variety of games (MGS, Demon's Souls, Battlefield, LBP, Heavy Rain, Minecraft, AOEIII). TLoU isn't my favorite game, but I do think it might objectively be the best game made.
So many people cannot accept the success of this game. I would guess it's because it is TRULY the first game to have a 10/10 story AND 10/10 gameplay.
Everyone who didn't play this game right away assumed the hype was due to its story, and they still can't accept that the enormous hype was real.

I would give 10's to some other games, but if TLoU doesn't get a 10 - then no game does.

I thought for sure they would focus on something else, or heck maybe even make an anthology series of mini campaigns for different characters in the story (Still hope they do that).
But if it took them like 2-3 years just to agree on the story, I am content that it will be good lol.

The PS4 had 200% more bandwidth than the X1, and the X2 only has 50% more bandwidth than the PS4. Furthermore we don't know the clockspeeds of the Zen CPU yet, and frankly the chip in the PS4K is just fine for the GPU it has.
The PS4 had a 40% stronger core, 300% faster memory, and a secondary ARM CPU with its own DDR3 to cut down on background usage. That was quite a massive difference in my opinion, and it allowed the PS4 to perform nearly twice as well as the XBOX.
Now the X2 will have a 43% more powerful core, and 50% more bandwidth. Overall that is a smaller difference than before (Mostly due to the substantially lower bandwidth disparity), and it is launching a year later. If you can&#...
