Which is FAR FAR superior for horror.

The difference is one is 4K, and one isn't.

Completely wrong. The Jaguar architecture is actually better than the FX 8000 line at the same clockspeeds.

The Bulldozer family is garbage, and what they did was actually an underestimate of the PS4's CPU performance.

Erhhhh. It's not a secret.

LOL this is the most obvious advantage it has.

Haha "Tepid"!

When Mom and Dad's walk into the Best Buy this fall they will see a PS4 with double the storage and over double the performance for $399. Let's see how well it sells before we give too much credit to the internet warriors around here.

I can build a PC as strong as the Scorpio specs RIGHT NOW for ~$500.

By next year $399 in a streamlined console won't be hard for them to do. The question is if they will even bother, because they seem obsessed with profit now over marketshare (Even if they are barely profiting).

Next year PS4 Pro will drop to $299 right before the X2 launches. I am not sure what they will price the X2 at, but it will likely be $399 - $449. Imo the price increase and lack of games will make it DOA.

But you see that is my biggest gripe with what you said: Remembering things "Off" isn't just normal. It is inherent in all of our memories. Find a video recording of yourself that you didn't know/remember you were recorded in and you will find massive and totally random differences from your memories. Thus it should never surprise anyone ever that several people remember something differently considering every memory we have is flawed. The consensus is really all we can...

Haha everything in this article is conjecture.

1) Yeah it will be stronger, but it will also be more expensive

2) Who says that Sony won't have an updated PS4 Pro a year from now? They very easily could.

3) Watch and learn?! You mean give Sony all of the innovation credit for a year, and then play copycat. Yeah that always makes you look really good...

Which in turn means that the price can be much lower than the Scorpio once that finally launches.

3428d ago 0 agree1 disagreeView comment

What this article doesn't get is Sony doesn't even care if people ignore the PS4 Pro at first.

What they are doing is achieving economy of scale LONG before the X2 even launches. They will price this at $299 when the X2 launches for $400 - $500.

3429d ago 1 agree1 disagreeView comment

Not to mention all XBOX games are on Windows, and you can build a PC stronger than the XBOX One for $300.

Almost a great article, but it doesn't at all know what it is talking about.

The subject of incorrect memories has been studied in detail. What this writer doesn't understand (Failed to google?) is that memory does not work like a video recorder. Our memories store specific (Random?) things that happen in clusters. As we age our clusters can group towards other clusters, and sometimes they overlap. This is a memory error inherent in the human brain's archite...

Don't worry by 2018 they will be nearly extinct.

3429d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

LOL easy answer: NO.

The X2 will be 30-40% stronger, which is less than the 50-75% advantage the PS4 had over the X1. Not only that but it launching A FULL YEAR earlier and for a lower price.

By the time the X2 comes out it will be competing with a $299 PS4 Pro with a mountain of games supporting it.

I have to say that I think some analysts and forum-dwellers are massively underestimating the desire for a more powerful console choice.

Yeah I know everyone says: "People just buy a PC if they want performance". But there really isn't any evidence to support this.

-Somehow the more expensive PS3 sold more than the 360 while it (At least briefly) had less games.
-Once the PS4 cost more than the X1 it still sold FAR more while fanb...

You do understand that it also runs other resolutions better too...right?

LOL an extra 33% more money for 300% the performance. This article is dead on.

3433d ago 4 agree1 disagreeView comment

It's probably a little of both.

These tools probably did hack EA, but I would guess that at most they just tipped the scale a little over. No doubt most of the work was done by the massive hype surrounding people wanting to just download and play this game.

I actually had no problem playing BF4 today, but the servers were pretty barren. It's clear other people are having issues.

@cfc83

LOL "Save the series".

The 100's of millions of dollars battlefield is making (And BF1 will double) would like to speak with you. If you don't like the game it's ok, but it is objectively wrong to call it at all an unsuccessful series.
