This is ridiculous. There are many more men that have higher positions within the studios, as the article itself says. It would then make sense that, on average, the men would be making more money. If they take two individuals doing the same exact job, one male and one female, and the male is getting paid more to do exactly the same thing, then that is an absolute shame.
Now, if you're to argue that women should have more high pay positions within the industry, that'...
I've played so many games over the years, at this point I'm looking for a good, gripping story to get me through the game. Cool interactive environments can definitely enhance the experience, but if there isn't a great story to pull me toward the end, no physics mechanics will be worthwhile.
I absolutely loved HZD, and I know the author isn't knocking the game, but I would take it over BotW any day. I haven't beaten a Zelda game since OoT (though I'...
Am I sensing a Torb/Sombra ship?
Ghost of Tsushima will probably fill that hole for ya.
How was Wii U the strongest console? I'm just confused by the logic, sorry. I enjoyed the Wii U, but the PS4 and XBO were far more powerful.
To cut to the chase, I'd say no, I don't think so. I think they'll have an app that allows you to bring an Xbox controller and play remotely, but I don't see them building an entire console for the sake of portability.
This writer has clearly never played a Persona game. Otherwise decent list. Bioshock had a great soundtrack also.
You know, I actually have the special edition of the WiiU with Windwaker (and I had the original GameCube version as well), but I just couldn't get through it. I think what has happened is that as I've gotten older, my tastes have changed drastically. I tried to like it, really did. Hell, I got a Wii for Twlight Princess... which I also didn't finish. As for Mario, I've played quite a few, but good/excellent gameplay doesn't quite make a game worthwhile to me. I will play ...
Nice to see HZD get some love! I hope Persona 5 does as well. I feel like I can't trust reviewers nowadays when it comes to certain franchises, primarily Mario, Zelda, and GTA. I feel like every new game in series is praised to kingdom come, then when I finally sit down and play it, I am not impressed. And trust me, when I spend $50-$60 on a game, I want to enjoy it.
Ocarina of Time is the only Zelda game I've finished (and loved), haven't ever gotten very far i...
I think so. It's good to see some reviewers giving it respect. I feel too many outlets are giving it to the Zelda and Mario (as is usually the case whenever a new one releases). I was hoping to see some Persona 5 love as well, but it seems a lot of games got pushed the wayside.
After reading the article's title, I was half expecting there to be less than six reasons upon entering the article itself. Alas, that is not the case, but I now know the why I love games for six reasons. Thank you, noobfeed.
For those of you who don't know, Gameinformer magazine takes each editor and lets them give their top ten list for the year. Andrew Reiner here is simply stating that he thinks that he should be able to put a game from 2016 (which he played more than anything else in 2017 due to fresh content) on his top 10 games of the year list. He isn't saying that he thinks any publication should give it their game of the year award. I think that's a fine assessment. Games that provide consist...
When insult your fanbase you do, destroyed your reputation becomes.
When violence your anger turns to, a chill pill you must take.
Too much water; 9.6/10.
In all seriousness though, it's unfortunate the people in positions of power take advantage of situations.
When death threats you send, illegitimate your argument becomes. Weakens your stance it does.
I don't find any fault with Overwatch's loot box system, it's the poor implementation in other games that I find to be the problem. Overwatch's system works for three key reasons, at least in my opinion.
- The loot box rewards are in no way tied to player progression or any pay to win scenario, everything obtained within them is purely cosmetic
- They are easily obtainable in game. In fact, they actually added ways to get them with weekly arcade loo...

I agree. I thought of that, though my need to rant kinda just went right over some of the details. If someone's work quality allows them a higher pay for the same work (though of better quality), then they deserve it. Meritocracy!
