Can we not?
I hate DLC. I love the business practice of creating the game, then moving on to the next game (unless if it's multiplayer heavy like Overwatch). I'm so glad God of War has done this and it's one of a myriad of reasons why it's my Game of the Year. Please don't push that DLC bs on every game, thanks. Without DLC, we get the next GoW 6 months faster than we would have ✌🏻
Mortal Kombat on the Sega Genesis when I was 6 years old. Maybe not the best choice for a kid that young, but my mom bought it secondhand. Suffice it to say, I loved Sub Zero, I enjoyed freezing my enemies over and over. When my cousin would come over, I'd show him all the cool characters and we'd play against each other.
Since I didn't have a computer back then, and since games were new to me, I didn't know anything about fatalities nor did I know about the...
I haven't listened to it, but the one thing I can think of off the top of my head is the reduction in quality triple A single player games. Make no mistake, Netflix makes some great content, but I still want my games like God of War. It will mostly be about games with recurring transactions or quick, cheap single player games with less development time.
And Moss!
Go to pcpartpicker.com. It's a very helpful site that will allow you to filter options by price and power and show you whether or not the parts are compatible.
Honestly, I think multiplayer can work in a portion of a Bethesda game, but not full co op like they have with 76.
My original idea for multiplayer in a Bethesda game was to have you be able to face online opponents in the arena in Oblivion. I think they could do something like that. Have team arena fights with friends or all out melee battles. Other than that though, you would ruin that single player experience.
I'm with you, that's why I lean toward games like The Last of Us, God of War, and Bioshock when looking at my favorite. A lot of people are for gameplay over story, but I get tired of good gameplay eventually if there isn't a good story to go along with it (never beat Bloodborne, sorry!!! I don't like to have to decipher my story).
I still have no idea what this game is. I'll probably get downvoted a ton, but I'm just not that excited for it. I don't know what to be excited for! This coming from an MGS fan. I guess time will tell. I'm sure it'll be great though.
Wait, did I miss something? I didn't know Neir was trying to be realistic.
I've never rated a Rockstar game higher than an 8, but that's personal preference. It's nice to see that there are reviewers that don't adhere to the industry norm of giving every Rockstar game a 10/10.
Better than that third rate duelist, Wheeler.
It really is all subjective when you think about it. I love watching Microsoft's show so I can see the games I'll be playing on my PlayStation. Sony and Nintendo have some great exclusives to show, so I would usually put one of the two of those companies up top.
I know it'll be a year before we hear anything from MS's new studios, but I literally give zero f**ks about these GamePass/BC announcements. I personally buy a console for new games I haven't played before. Please start trying to cater to that audience as well.
Also, I'm not sure how I feel about GamePass yet... I don't think single player games should be put on the service on their release date, if GP became an industry-wide thing. It'll make it so...
Is this a question or a guide?
Valid point.
I wanted it from Obsidian. They knew what they were doing. Well, here's to hoping they make something great!
And here I was hoping for a FO:NV2. Oh well.
God of War has everything I'd want from a game. Red Dead is great and all, but definitely not my GoTY. I still think about picking up and playing GoW (shouldn't have let my friend borrow it!) more than I think of playing RDR2, and RDR2 is the game in my disc slot -_-
God of War for me. I couldn't wait to get home and play it. For the first time in a while I thought; "I didn't know I needed this." Can't say the same of everything else.
Give me a solid single player game and I'm happy. I enjoyed Detroit, Spider-Man, Ni No Kuni II, Dragon Quest XI (which I'm still playing), and God of War this year. I still need to get a few of those VR goodies as well. I hear Astro Bot, Moss, Tetris Effect, and Beat Saber are awesome.
I'm done with all these new ways to monetize online games. I played Fortinite once, which was enough. The Red Dead online Beta is... lacking. It controls like shite.
