Let's not forget marketing. It plays an important role. The WiiU failed so hard because a lot of people weren't sure what it was. Price and exclusives are the more important factors over hardware. Almost every generation, the cheaper console (which was usually the less powerful) won.
I was gonna pick this up with a Switch, but I'm gonna wait a bit since I got some time in with the game at my cousin's place. I pretty much played for a few days straight! Anyone on the fence should definitely check it out, tons of content.
He said he hopes that he can play it in black and white, you know, like how everything was back in feudal Japan. Give me a break, man.
Haha how do I have two downvotes xD. Either people who are Xbox fanboys or people that don't understand my comment.
I hated when MS were in the lead for hardcore consoles last gen. It was all about multiplayer games, DLC, and exclusive third party content. I severely disliked what they brought to the table. I like the focus on single player experiences, once Sony dropped the price and released the slim, that focus started to resurface and lead its way into the next gen and I've enjoyed it so far.
I don't consider The Last of Us to be a "fun" game, but it's my favorite video game. It's an experience. That being said, if a game isn't fun and also boring, then I'm not down.
The Last of Us sold 17 million copies between PS3 and PS4. The highest selling Animal Crossing sits at around 12 million on the 3DS. To say that Animal Crossing will outsell all those games combined is quite ignorant. Then again, you seem to fit that mold. As for the other Nintendo games, if we're talking sales, Metroid games haven't broken 3 million, and Bayonetta doesn't sell that well (hence why it had to be revived and supported by Nintendo). This isn't speaking to these g...
You, my good sir, are ignorant. It's okay though, we all have our moments.
Anticipated?
Because people are still buying them and new options haven't been revealed yet? Can I have his paycheck?
When your players forget who your characters were upon playing a sequel, you've done a shit job at storytelling and character creation. Looking at you Jonah. I only remember now because I've made an effort to remember how forgettable a character can be.
When the best part of your game is the inclusion of allowing players to download older games in the series xD
I'd say to stay independent. However, if they did want the extra backing, I feel like Sony would give them far more creative freedom than either of the other two.
Stopppppppppp
Where'd you see that???
Sony, please stop making good games. I hate having something to look forward to in this painful existence.
In short; nothing. Info on the devs and some possible gossip isn't actual news. Thanks though.
Solid list. TLoU Prt2 is my most anticipated for sure. I hope it comes out this year.
Dead.
Same.
