Haha Xbox One 2. Imagine if they named it that xD. Jesus, what a terrible name.
One can hope. It seems like a beast of a console though.
The rumored $500 price tag is a bit rough, not saying it won't be worth it, but the sweet spot for a launch console is $399 or lower. I hope they don't shoot themselves in the foot. I'll support them because they always have the best games, but the majority will often go for the cheaper option.
Yeah, the combat it GoW III was tight. Stig is a smart guy. I look forward to seeing how it plays out. I've only seen heavily multiplayer steeped FPS games from the studio so far. I'm sure they can do something great. Guerrilla Games did something similar with Horizon, so my interest is piqued.
The only issue I had with the Witcher was its gameplay. The reason I mentioned Santa Monica was because their gameplay is satisfying, yet challenging. Platinum Games would also be good from a gameplay standpoint. If MS had an amazing single player developer that I thought could handle the franchise, and would make the best Star Wars game out there, then I'd be more than happy to recommend that. As it is though, combat is very tricky to master and there aren't a ton of devs that I thin...
Didn't this same exact studio make the mistake of partnering with MS for the original Titanfall? I prefer PS consoles, but I think it's dumb when either company secures 3rd party exclusive content/marketing. From a business standpoint though, you really shouldn't partner with the company that has less than half the install base of the other 🤷♂️
It's an Xbox fan site, they're not going to put PS games in there.
Not sure if I would trust Square Enix, they're hit or miss. CD Projekt is great and would also handle the propert well. Your comments make me think you haven't even tried God Of War. The game is phenomenal. And it's not "my opinion," Sony actually gives their developers the creative freedom they need, which usually means better games.
Never thought that. Competition is great for the industry. The difference between the big 3 is that Sony allows their guys creative freedom to do what they like. Sure they have some tried and true franchises, but they let their studios make what they want, pretty much. Microsoft and Nintendo, not so much. As for Activision/EA, I don't always trust em. I like what was done with God of War, one and done, no DLC. I like the direction of the studio and that Sony allowed them to do that. Has n...
It would be cool if Sony Santa Monica was allowed access to the Star Wars license. Could you imagine the combat in Star Wars game made by the God of War team?
I don't trust EA, but I do like Respawn. I hope for the best.
What a waste of an article. It pretty much tells you that it's 100% random. Thanks guy.
LittleBigPlanet should be on this list. Those games are great and full of heart.
As long as it can be beaten with one button, it should manage to achieve universal acclaim.
The word masterpiece is followed by a 10/10 score in almost every case (or at least it should be, masterpiece is a hefty word). This looks great, I look forward to trying it.
You could always have better writing with a better plot. And characters that people care about. That helps. I couldn't tell you any character's names (beside Lara) from either game.
Spoiler from the article***
40 Freaker Hordes in the world, 3 encountered in the story. Range from 50-500.
I think it has the capability. I'm looking forward to it.
When asked if every video game, including Sekiro, should be for everyone, you said "yes."
Common sense has determined that was a lie.
Add Ghost of Tsushima to the list as well! I wish most of these games came out soon. Too much waiting.
Platinum Games makes some sweet single player games, too!
