I see your point but the opposite happens also. As a teenager and early 20s i wasnt as interested in video games as i am now. Obtaining a good career and gettin as much tail as possible was my main interest. As time goes on your life gets "settled" and you actually have more time to play games.

Dont like it?? Sick of it?? Dont buy it. Im a problem solver today. :)

Im waiting for the price to go down on Steam. Then ill make the purchase. Seems like a decent game with mixed reviews.

I liked duke nukem also. It wasnt great but it was good. The PC version is easily superior graphics wise and the multiplayer isnt a bad change from the normal 1st person shooters out there. Socom should be 1st on that list. I was more dissapointed with that game.

This still wont make me want to buy from Origin. Why have multiple publisher services only selling their 1st party games?? Gamers want a service where they can buy ALL games no matter who makes them. Steam is the closest to that right now therefore Steam is king all others must die! :)

I agree. Ill be buying a retail hard copy. I wish it was on Steam though. Why would anyone support origin? They only sell EA games. I want to buy my games from one place instead of multiple publisher sites. Just die Origin or sell 3rd party games also. Maybe then your sevice may be worthwhile.

I dont believe big maps are the problem. I think small maps make it easier for camping. Since there are fewer spawn exit points its easy to camp a couple of 'corridors" to rack up kills. Players will get trapped without the ability to flank the camper on small maps.

Give me huge maps with cover over my spawn. I want to be able to flank without being seen. I dont want to play on a small map being forced down a populated passage only to get shot by someone camping it...

Agreed. This is what ive been saying for years. Its not that maps that encourage camping its how the killstreaks are implemented in the game.

You should have to get each of your kills within a certain time period which will encourage moving to find each person. Even if you die you can still get a killstreak if you kill the next enemy within a certain time period.

This system would eliminate most camping because most campers wont be able to get kills qui...

So your saying people should be ok with a next gen Sony/Microsoft console that only has a handful of first party games and no third party games?

Thats what Origin is. They only sell EA games at expensive prices. Steam sells there own 1st party games as well as most other games at dirt cheap prices. Most would rather buy their games from one place instead of 10 different publisher exclusive sites.

Also why dont EA take all their games off Steam? They know ...

Microsoft was fast to correct these articles but dont seem to be responding to the Windows 8 articles. This could mean the rumors of Xbox games on a Windows 8 PC are true.

COD elite is activisions way of charging for multiplayer. They knew they couldnt directly charge for multiplayer but they could do this and get away with it.

Its a fancy stat tracking system thats a waste of money. Ill buy COD but not COD elite.

Im glad battlefield isnt charging but im dissapointed that the game isnt on Steam. I wont buy from Origin.

If we can have cross platform play with enhanced graphics on our high end systems then this all sounds great. If its just an xbox game on our PC without actually taking advantage of our PCs graphical power then whats the point??

Why would PC gamers be interested if this is the way it will be? Its like trading our high end video card for a low end card.

Im a PC/console gamer and only use a 360 controller for PC games. This includes 1st person shooters. I see no difference playing against keyboard and mouse users. I grew up with a controller so thats what im good with.

Those interested in PC gaming can make an easy transition like i did. I switched to PC 2 months ago and i rarely turn on my consoles. Im addicted to Steam now. Excellent deals on games.

Im new to steam and im addicted.

I wont be buying from origin. Ill pick up a hard copy before i buy from there. It should be on Steam. Origin will never be succesful if they only supply EA games. Shut it down already.

I picked up batman/L4D2/farcry2. I may pick up a couple others before the nights out. Gothic 4 seems to be a good deal at 75% off.

It is a video game and must be fun at all times. Balancing is key. If making certain parts of a game unrealistic and others parts realistic results in a product that is more balanced then so be it.

Everyday so far i purchased a game or two but these games dont interest me. Looking forward to tomorrow!!

Not sure where you buy your games but 99 percent of new PC games including EA are at least $10 cheaper at retail. I buy plenty of games. Sometimes console and PC versions of the same game.

When you factor in great online retailers like Steam, you get 50-75 percent off different games on a daily bases.

Maybe Battlefield 3 will be a different story but from my experience PC gaming is a lot cheaper when buying games.

Im not too excited for a new console if it isnt upgradable. In a year or two after launch it will be outdated as usual without the ability to upgrade. I think i'll stick with PC this time around.
