We need new consoles now!! Seems like the only people that dont want them are the "armchair" experts sitting in front of their monitor preaching what the gaming industry needs. Even though the actual developers and console manufacturers are looking toward the future.
If they launched a new console tomorrow i will be first in line. All hobbies cost money. If you cant afford your hobby then find a new one.
I like this idea. I hope its true.
Everyone said the same thing before this generation started about console makers, developers and gamers cant afford it. Its a rerun of the same arguments over and over from one generation to the next. "Its bad for the industry to launch now" people say. Ive read and heard it all before.
I suggest embracing new tech with open arms. I will be first in line to buy a new console. All hobbies cost money. If someone cant afford it then they should find a new hobby.
Yes we need a new console now. I plan on playing Battlefield 3 and Skyrim in true HD whether its on a new console or if i have to upgrade my PC. Either way it wont be on my outdated 360/PS3.
I hope it happens. All games will have built in detection for whatever hardware you have and will adjust accordingly. Hardware installs will be easy with interchanging motherboards with CPU, GPU and ram built in. It will be like putting in a game cartridge. Very easy for an average person with no tech knowledge to understand.

Sadly there are people who make their lives revolve around video games and when you make a valid negative comment about a game these people seem to get extremely offended.
4 disagrees so far without anyone proving otherwise. Just do a search on youtube and you will see countless cool user hacks for Kinect. Microsoft only has a handful of games that require you to jump up and down and move your arms. I am a 360 fan and would like to see what they have in store but where is the innovation so far??
I personally like the 360 controller better. The PS controller is too small and i dont like the thumbsticks. I have a 360-like controller that i use to play PS3 games.
Im not a fan of the beta. Its similar to the Ghost Recon series on the 360 which i loved but for some reason the game feels dated. Maybe if it was released a few years ago i would like it more. Ill give it another chance but it aint lookin good.
Seems like users have more interesting ways to make use of Kinect then microsoft does.
Why do these articles get approved?? Im new to this site and its all i see at the top of the page. All these articles do is promote arguing and hate comments. Love the console you have or get both and love them equal.
You buy for your mistress to keep her quiet. You obviously cant spend equal time with her too so you have to make it up with gifts. The mistress gets jealous too. Im not saying this is what i do but it is the truth.
Years ago developers made games difficult to make up for little content. If they make a game hard with few continues it will take longer to beat which means more replay value.
These days games are longer with more replay value then ever before. There isnt need to make games "hard". There is usually the option to manually increase the difficulty for a game. Unlike before you now get proof of doing so with an achievement or trophy.
Looks like the guy needs to be more careful next time. You need to be caught a few times to learn from your mistakes. :)
I hope they announce this E3. I dont believe they will drop support for the 360 for at least a few years after the new console launch.
I admit im more of a 360 fan than a PS3 fan. Lately im dissapointed with microsoft. Seems like all they care about is Kinect. If they plan on announcing a new console this E3 then great. Then i can understand the long silence this year so far. Ill be buying one at launch for sure. If they dont announce this E3 then what? Its going to be an E3 about stupid Kinect titles.
There isnt much need to take your hands off the steering wheel when its obvious he is using paddle shifters. Also the GT5 hands either looks like a woman's, child's or very small man's hands. It dont look right.
I look forward to gaming with you in my 90s good sir. :)
Personally i have a government job but working at mcdonalds or an office worker doesnt make a difference for time to play. It depends on the actual hours of work. You would have less time to play if you worked a 10 hour shift at mcdonalds compared to a 8 hour shift at the office.
Yes kids play a role in the amount of time to play but that depends on how many you have, work scheduling etc etc. I guess it depends on what cards you were dealt in life and life choices you made ...
Seems like developers and some console manufacturers think otherwise. Id believe them over an analyst about whats best for the console industry.
If a new console was launched tomorrow i would be more then happy to make the purchase.
