Anything to do with more recoil isnt good if Dice wants to attract Call of Duty players. COD players are use to little recoil with weapons and most dont want to learn how to use them properly.
Im a fan of battlefield games and I think this is going to be a great game that im going to love. The sad truth is i dont think many COD fans will play this much after MW3 comes out. Only time will tell.

Hopefully my GTX580 will run it on max settings at 1920X1080 with 60 FPS. Cant see why it wouldnt.
Personally i dont mind paying if there is a sevice worth paying for. If i can play all multiplatform games with xbox friends and obtain achievements then yes i will pay. Also id like for them to add Halo and the Gears series to PC.
I cant imagine logging on windows 8 only to see and chat with xbox friends without the ability to play my favorite games with them. GFWL is similar to that now. If this is the case then yes this whole windows 8 thing will be garbage.
I use Steam daily. Im not surprised that they released this info after microsoft officially announced windows 8 with built in Xbox live support.
Steam rules PC gaming right now but if microsoft plays their cards right, that could change. Only time will tell.
Competition is good for gamers.
Im not sure why they are calling this a beta. This close to launch it should be called a demo. Sure they may be testing servers or some balancing issues but not much more. However this beta plays is how the final version is going to be. Id be surprised if im wrong.

Its amazing that we are actually comparing PS3 to Xbox 360 this generation. If this was last gen there would be no competition. PS2 ruled. The original Xbox didnt have a chance. Microsoft came a long way this generation with the xbox brand.
I do agree that the PS3 has more exclusives this year.

At first hacking was annoying but after a while it became pretty easy. I have to say though there is a bit too much hacking in this game.

I use a controller for PC online shooters. I actually prefer it. I dont see a difference playing against K/M users compared to playing gamepad users.
Its all about what you are use to using.
If i can play with my xbox friends from my PC with PC graphics then im in. Yes i will even pay a subscription fee for this. Its like xbox next gen console now!!
From what im hearing there is going to be a fee to access some content for xbox live on PC. If this is true, it would be insane not to incorporate cross platform play for big games.
I love achievements and the whole ecosystem idea but its not worth a monthly fee when you can access similar content elsewhere for free.

The only way i would pay for xbox live on PC is if i can finally connect and play with my xbox friends from my PC. Otherwise i dont see why anyone would pay for it or even be interested.

I play PC FPS games online with my gamepad and honestly see no difference when compared to playing on console. The game needs built in support though. 3rd party programs dont work as well.

$500 video card to play Witcher 2 at medium settings? You will play on maxed settings for that price. You can buy a gaming PC that will outperform a console for that amount.
