Ill admit I will be no competition for you because there is no "plug and play" native support for a controller in that game. Sure there is external programs that you can use but its not the same.
Its hard for long time PC gamers to understand why some people would rather use a controller for shooters but for controller users its like second nature. The thumbsticks are like an extension of your hand and just "feels right".
I hope more ...
I am a hardcore console gamer with 100,000 gamerscore. I played PS3/360 since launch. Recently i built a PC and absolutely love it. Better multiplayer, better community, you save money on games and better graphics. Basically you buy a game for cheaper and its superior in every way.
I wonder why i didnt do it sooner. Most PC games come with controller support so you can hook it up to your big tv for an easy transition. Dont believe the hype about keyboard and mouse users wil...

Im not saying COD has evolved much. I am saying that other top developers take years to make a sequel without any more improvements then a COD game which is released every year.
Most sequels take 2-4 years to launch and they have very little improvements. Why make us wait that long when they can easily release it in half that time. Call of Duty releases yearly and have just as many improvements as most other developers that take years to do a sequel.
Time between sequels dont equal quality
Cant wait to see the difference.
Your right. It could and should be done right now. Theres no technical reason it couldnt happen.
When i said consoles are "dated" i meant every other electronic device is moving forward with cross platform communication while our consoles remain in the dark ages.
Its a trend that people expect from their devices and if it isnt added to the console platform it could mean customers will look elsewhere for entertainment.
When you think about it, most personal electronic devices can communicate in some way. Its odd our once $600 high end device (console) can only communicate with itsself. It dont make sense in such a connected world. It just shows how dated consoles are and how they will come to an end if this trend continues.
Those that want this feature should protest to have certain buttons dedicated to eating/drinking in multiplayer. :)
Seriously though it doesnt matter to me either way. Most would rather to just jump into a vehicle without animations.
Its a little late for this feature. Maybe in 9 years from now we will be able to play PS3 games on our then outdated PS4.
Your right about digital downloads will hurt consumers more. I was thinking long term and from a developer viewpoint.
I too love that shiny new game case with the cool picture on the front. Renting games from the local video store is great too. Something you wont be able to do with downloads.
The truth of the matter is everything is going digital whether we like it or not. Judging by how popular downloading is people must see benefits in it.
Hopefully next gen will be digital downloads only. Its not like the consumer is gaining much from buying used games. There isnt much difference in price. Why buy used when you can have it new for a few dollors more.
The only party that wins is the game store.
Ha ha i remember them days.
Its like a re-run of an old tv show. Always just before a new generation of consoles begins, everyone complains over graphics on current platforms. Hopefully the more people complain the faster they will come.
Luckily some of us have gaming PCs and dont have to wait for sony/microsoft to tell us when next gen begins.
I dont get why people say the xbox "failed". Not too long ago sony absolutely ruled with their PS1/PS2. Nobody could touch them. Now with the PS3 you cant say the same. Xbox came from nothing to become playstation's biggest rival.
If anyone honestly looked back this generation it would be obvious the xbox has made huge leaps forward. Despite the "red ring" problems xbox have secured a huge fanbase that rivals playstation.
Those n...
Dice has said from the beginning that it was PC footage being shown. It goes without saying that the PC version of a game will be superior graphically.
Those concerned over graphics should demand a new more powerful console to be launched or play on PC.
If your complaining about graphics then buy a PC. You cant expect much from consoles this late in this generation. I retired my PS3/360 and im now playing PC on my 55 inch led screen. I dont believe i waited this long to do it. Theres no going back!!!
You should buy a gaming PC. When people think of PC they think of having to play with a keyboard and mouse but thats not true. Most games come with the ability to use a 360 controler built right in. I thought i would get owned by keyboard and mouse players for online first person shooters but no not at all. I actually do as good or better using my gamepad on PC then on 360/PS3.
Hook your new PC up to your big TV then relax and enjoy!!
Ive got tired of waiting for a new console to be released or at least announced so i upgraded my PC. Now im already viewing next gen graphics without a new console. Last month i would have been excited for a new console but now im really starting to love PC gaming so i dont really care.
Im a console gamer but when i play PC i do great with my 360 controller. I see no difference against PC players. So either you are dead wrong or im a beast of a player. I say you are just wrong. You are not alone to believe in this idea of console gamers being at a disadvantage though.
I agree. I just started buying all my games from steam. Its like christmas everyday!!! You save big with PC gaming. It doesnt cost much to make the jump from console to PC.
