My thoughts exactly. I was looking forward to this game but now im willing to do without it because of no controller support. There is no excuse.
I love PC gaming but i love my controller too. Im not giving a lazy developer my money. If i have to buy it for console to get gamepad support ill pass. Ill buy another game.
Its actually the opposite of what you are saying. PC versions always look better. Full 1080P with no jaggies and silky smooth framerate.
The actual gameplay is when you truly see the difference in games. Screenshot comparisons are a joke. Im mostly a PC gamer and even i find it hard to see the difference between console vs PC screenshots. Trust me, sitting in front of a 55 inch LED playing with the game settings maxed is night and day when graphically compared to a console....
The GTX 690 has my name on it. Should be a considerable performance boost over my GTX 580.
I legally buy all my PC games. Cant say the same for many others.
I think for those that dont care about stats, there should be an option to not track them if the person wants.
I agree. Quickscoping is just taking advantage of the assisted aim on consoles.
I agree with most of what this guy said. Consoles have gone on way too long and more people are leaving consoles for PC. I am one of them.
One thing i would never give up is my gamepad. Thank god i didnt have to because most games support it.
I was console gamer for years. A gamepad is second nature to me. I play PC games on a 55 inch LED in a big chair. A K/M would be uncomfortable in my situation.
I play battlefield 3 online with a gamepad and do great also. Sure i may do a little better with a K/M but its not worth it considering im usually in the top 3 on my team.
What can i say? I love my controller. :)

Im a pc gamer but i love my 360 controller. I wont buy a pc game unless it has gamepad support. I play battlefield 3, black ops and homefront online and love it. I do great against M/K users. Not much different to be honest.
I hope microsoft reveals in detail how windows 8 will incorporate xbox live. New info on Microsofts "universal gaming portal" should be shown also.

Dont this furthur prove my point that gamepads are harder to use and require more practice and skill then to simply point and click with a mouse? That was the whole point of my original post.
Why not use a gamepad on console instead of your K/M? Wouldnt it be more rewarding knowing that you are on an even playing field? ...

I play only on my high end PC and use a gamepad for all games, even online shooters and do great. I guess im not a "real gamer".
You say a mouse takes more skill?? Anyone can point and click with a mouse. Try being accurate with two sticks on a controller. That takes years of practice.
Patch then re-patch until the game no longer resembles what makes it great in the first place.
While you are at it, why not patch the pistol so it can snipe like a sniper rifle?? We need balance!!!
Enough with the overpowered garbage. Particular guns are more powerful in real life too. Deal with it.
I think with this second generation of 3D tvs the LG models are the right choice. Sony glasses are too heavy and you cant tilt your head because the screen will get blurry. The LG models use movie theatre glasses that are cheap and you can move your head however you want. They also dont use batteries. The 3D effect is the same if not better.
I own a sony 55 inch 3D tv but like the LG 3D better.
Any "top PC games article of 2011" must include Witcher 2, Battlefield 3 and Skyrim. Failing to do so will get you shot in the knee with an arrow.
If anyone is bothered by campers in battlefield games they should stop playing now with the IRNV nerfed. It was great for spotting campers in bushes who dont go for objectives. Now they are free to work on their K/D ratio showing their awesome "skills".
As with other games, developers will patch and re-patch until the game no longer resembles what made it great in the first place. Thankfully new games are released consistently to replace the patched-to-death mess ...

3rd party programs like xpadder is nothing compared to built in support. I consider myself excellent with a gamepad but even i cant aim with those programs. They just dont feel right.
