I don't see a price drop happening so soon.
However, it's refreshing to see that so many gamers, especially those from the "other side", are eager to get their hands on a PS3. Sony has got 360 gamers by the balls.
The word is "Envy". Jealous people find pleasure in belittling the successes of others, rather than correcting their own shortcomings.
Zounds wike wittle beebee Greenberg is a wittle beet scarewrd.
--You say that like it's a good thing, If Sony dropped the price more people would be inclined to buy one, myself included.--
But at this point, how desperate is Sony to convince Xbots to switch consoles? The answer is probably: not very desperate. Ya see, last year, Microsoft and Sony sold nearly the same number of consoles worldwide, except Sony did it with a console that was twice the price.
If I sell 100 glasses of Lemonade on my block for 50c each. I've made ...
D-E-N-I-A-L.
Sounds like a jealous gamer who is steadily realizing that they may have made a mistake in console choices. It can be equated to going in to convulsions, desperately gasping and reach out, while being suffocated with a pillow.
--MS can afford to hide their games because they are seen as the "cool" console to have by the majority of the buying public( males 13- 25)--
When in the knowledgeable minority, the 360 can often be seen as a "waste of money". I see what you did there!
... but a man can still "wonder".
I don't agree, SL1M. You can find many of the "great" 360 titles on PC, which pretty much trumps the argument of "do eett 4 teh gamez!!1 lolz."
I've never felt that the 360 was a must-buy.
When the XBOX360 was first released, I thought long and hard about purchasing one. Ultimately, I decided that my PS2 was console-enough for the time being.
As "GOTTA HAVE" titles started turning up left and right on the 360, I'll admit that, again, I contemplated purchasing the console. Again, though, ultimately I decided against purchasing the 360 and instead opted to upgrade my PC to play both the MUST-HAVE 360 titl...
I've always thought Gears(1) was fun. It's not "go out and buy a 360 just to play it" fun, but it's fun.
Luckily, the "go out and buy a 360 for them" games are all ported to PC. That way, I don't have to actually, ya know, go out and buy a 360.
What's most "wow-ing" about this is that these type if situations are all-too-common in the gaming industry.
I wonder if we'll eventually see a PC or PS3 port.
You're laughable.
I know what you've mean. I've caught the same bug. I bought dozens of great titles for multiple platforms this seasons, but all I've been playing is Team Fortress 2 and Left 4 Dead. I can't bring myself to play anything else.
It was Crecente from Kotaku.
Seriously, Left4Dead for best story. LOL.
PS3 for your console experience.
PC for the MUST-HAVE XBOX360 ports and Multiplayer experience.
Win.
Where were you in 2008?
-- I guess for PC gamers that are used to spend $200 on RAM every quarter, it is an easy choice to fork over the money. --
Leave the PC Gaming comments to those who have a clue what they're talking about.
Gears and Gears II were bland and they did just fine.
But I agree, this game doesn't get me the least bit excited.
By chance, do you have a link to site with information regarding the productions costs of each console?
And, do you have any comment on the rest of my above post, or are you the type to look only for faults of a statement but never recognize the facts?
