... when they've already got your money? You poor, poor saps.

What does Epic gain by putting time and money in to fixing the game's issues after release? Gears 2 has already received its critical acclaim, millions of people have already purchased the "faulty" product, and millions of people are going to purchase the next installation (Gears 3) regardless of bug fixes.

Tato, are you picking up a PS3 for KZ2? If so, I'll add you to my buddy list. We'll play together!

I loved every moment of Final Fantasy 8, even more than I loved FF7.

I don't think the 360 will have any troubles "staying alive" in 2009. It will have troubles, however, "staying ahead". If, that is, you're of the belief that it was ever "ahead" in the first place.

At this point, if the consoles wars are any indication, there are plenty of Xbots contemplating WHEN it is they are going to purchase a PS3. Where it seems that PS3droids have almost no intention of EVER purchasing a 360, otherwise they would have alrea...

I was in Best Buy this evening checking out gaming mice when I wondered over to the PS3/360 section to check on the price of HDMI cables. I stumbled upon an employee who was answering a customer's questions regarding the XBOX360. The man asked, "Have you heard that the 360 has a habit of breaking?" To which the employee replied, "Yea, well, mine broke six times, but I think with the newest firmware that they've fixed that problem."

The man picked up a 360, G...

Doubtful. Click Gamerzone and check one of our fellow gamer's worldwide numbers (although admittedly they aren't complete):

Wii: 15,655,069
PS3: 6,002,314
360: 5,178,790

Multiply 6 million by $400. The answer? Sony doesn't have to do jack-n-sh!t in regards to the PS3's price point for quite some time. In order to make your statement true, I've made a minor correction, "If Sony wants to convince Xbots to purchase a PS3 in 09,they need to drop the ...

They call those "console exclusives" nowadays.

I'll enjoy my "console exclusives" on the PC though, ya know, where they actually receive free updates and patches regularly? I'm look at YOU, Left 4 Dead and Team Fortress 2. Yeah, thanks.

Regarding the original topic, there aren't really any 360 exclusives that have been announced for 2009 that I care about, let alone wish were coming to the PS3.

Ballsy. Good list. I don't agree with all of their choices, but it's a very, very solid list.

I also like that they displayed the PC version of Left4Dead. Put the best foot forward, I always say. And a big CONGRATULATIONS to Valkyria Chronicles! You've earned it!

"Some would give Metallica crap for selling out and making a video game"
I think more people would give them crap for not releasing a good album in almost two decades.

- 360: Gears 2, Fable II, L4D, I can go on and on. -

Please do. I want to hear you go on and on, because looking back at 2008, there was only Gears 2 and Fable 2 for 360 gamers. And anyone who actually plays Left4Dead, or any other Valve product for that matter, plays it on the PC.

After Final Fantasy XII, I'm really not all that interested in Final Fantasy. It's going to take some strong reviews and some serious word-of-mouth to convince me to pick FFXIII up. That, or the bargain bin.

A better question would be: Who cares? Rare has squandered any positive rep accumulated in the 1990s.

The thought pattern has turned from, "Oh wow! Rare is putting out a new game! I've got to go buy that!" to "Rare is working on a game? Oh? It's a sequel to one of their classic franchises? No thanks. I'll pass. Although, I'm curious how they're going to botch it this time."

I've got to admit. There's this nagging thought in the back of my mind...
