Seconded.
As a proud PS3 owner, from this trailer, God of War III looks pretty lackluster. Uncharted 2's teaser was a hell of a lot more impressive.
This trailer did a great job at making the decision for me. If I was on the fence at all before tonight, I'm not anymore.
I will NOT be buying this DLC.
Hey Blade,
Not to be inflammatory or anything, but you really are a pathetic piece of sh!t. And take that coming from a guy that works at Microsoft Game Studios. You aren't doing anyone, including yourself, Microsoft, and this community any favors by acting like a tw@t.
When it comes to quality software, the PS3 owned 2008.
I honestly do not agree with you. I believe your statement to be outright false. This is coming from my experiences working at Microsoft Game Studios. Both "sides" are guilty of hyping "shovelware" titles, but 360 gamers are much more susceptible to purchasing those turds upon release. Microsoft's advertising division is just THAT good.
I don't take issue with GeoW2's lack of "originality". As said before, it's a sequel (and a middle-child at that) and anything over and above "the same, plus some" might be asking too much. However, I whole-heartedly agree with you regarding Multiplayer. I wouldn't label Gears2 multiplayer as BAD, per say, but it's certainly not GREAT (and definitely not AAA great).
IMO, Gears of War 2 makes a wonderful RENTAL for the Single Player experience alone. If you...
I like seeing Little Nemo on there. That game was so fudgin' hard.
But certainly there are more big name titles that CANNOT run on Linux, than those that CAN. When this isn't the case, I can see many making the switch.
... but just from these trailers, Versus looks a lot cooler than XIII.
Curious, what were your reasons for purchasing the 360 version over the PC version? In my opinion, there's really no contest. It's PC all the way. Just interested in hearing the other side of the argument...
If we're talking RARE IPs...
I want Battletoads!
I think Greenberg makes some good points. Really, what he's trying to say is, "We looked into copying Home, but we really don't have the developing power to accomplish something of that scale. So we said to ourselves, "Darn, maybe it's back to the drawing board to come up with our own original designs." Fortunately for us, not long after, Nintendo released the Wii with its ridiculously cute Miis! Who needs original design when the work has already been done for you?"
I see what you did there.
I agree. It's not 2009 yet. You get your first agree from me, Firstkn1ghT.
LoL. Someone disagreed me. What year is it then, Mr.Smartypants?
A bit harsh?
And MS released only two noteworthy exclusives this year, so what are you implying about this year?
IMO, I think Microsoft was expecting to be clobbering Sony a whole lot harder after the price cut; which might have made the strength of their 2009 line-up not-quite-as relevant.
On another note, Bioshock 2? Has that been 360 confirmed? I heard rumors it was going to be a PS3 timed exclusive. Again, only rumors.
While I don't own both consoles, I do own TWO: a PS3 and a PC. I'm not really missing out on the "important" XBOX software because many 360 "exclusives" get ported to PC eventually.
There's no NDA against calling you on your BS. I like MGS, well enough to work there, and even so I think you're a jerk. I'd say, we've got some pretty big fans of the 360 at work, but none of them take it to the extreme that you do; undercutting, badgering, bullying and belittling other people on a gaming website.
You give the 360 community a bad name.
But I'll be sure to give Jim, John, Howie, Bart, Weezy, Frankie, Gerald, Margaret, Aesop, Garfield, and Donald Du...
