I'm sure if you are arrested in Iran and tortured daily with no hope of release you would just want it to end at sometime. With the U.S/Iran relations worsening it is not like Iran would just release a possible "spy".
Awesome video. Some might consider it "to soon" but the video is hilarious and isn't meant in any bad manner.
I could see Microsoft going a route similar to this. I don't think they would go 100% tablet based for their next console, but they could do something along the lines off the Wii U.
They could have a normal console, and then also have a tablet similar to the console that allows users to play any game that they have on their "next box" on their tablet. Essentially it would be what Sony is partially doing with the PS3/Vita but 100% committed to the idea.
This article does have some good points as to how gaming has progressed and in a way has become less about games and more about being a "movie".
I love games like Uncharted 3 but at the same time I don't consider them "games" in a way since i enjoy the cut-scenes more than game play most of the time. On the other hand a game like Skyrim I love since it is a "real" game and focuses more on game play than story imo.
Interesting awards(nice to see what European's enjoy in games). As far as Batman as GOTY I would disagree but thats just me, I would have went with Skyrim or Uncharted 3.
Even if they did it still doesn't change much. Can't just go back to them after a few days, have to make it hurt to get the point across.
The handheld games are essentially RPG's in a way. All they have to do is to make a good version of them for their consoles. Although I doubt they would do that since it would negate buying their portable devices.
That is the reason why you won't see something like this since they need to keep enough content for both so one doesn't overtake the other.
Nice to see that a game like this turned out decent. I remember back when I was young playing this daily along with Goldeneye with my friends in the neighborhood almost daily. Much more enjoyable as a kid since it isn't a real serious game.
Agreed. I submitted this since it was actually well written and showed the overlooked side of gaming journalism that most ignore.
I won't deny that gaming journalism as a whole has been on a downwards spiral quality and integrity wise but that isn't what the article is about.
Here is to hoping that Diablo 3 does not get screwed up by the casual wave of gaming we currently are in. I wasn't to interested in Diablo 3 since I don't like dungeon crawler/loot game but it is nice to see they are improving the story.
The Diablo universe has a ton of great story, lore, and atmosphere behind it. If they provide a good Diablo game game play wise and then add in an awesome story that sucks you in then I might just have to pick it up after all.
As long as Microsoft can release Halo, Fable and a handful of other exclusives to keep the "hardcore" gamer "satisfied" they won't bother expanding with first party studios other than casual ones.
Why? Because as a business it doesn't make sense. Why go the Sony route(which I like Sony for) when your audience is fine with 1-2 major exclusives a year and extra Call of Duty content? Until this strategy fails Microsoft won't bother with finding ...
If they are enhancing CoD every few weeks then why haven't they been this since the release? Sure they patched a few bugs, but I would hardly call that enhancing but instead fixing their re-re-re-released game.
Doubt it. It will be on one disc since GTA games don't exactly need tons of room for pre-rendered cut scenes.
No End of Nations on this list???
Doesn't mean that they won't remake it just to rake in some easy money.
Can't wait for End of Nations, everything about it looks awesome so far and the beta doesn't seem to be far away(sign up on their website for it).
It is somewhat influenced by Shattered Galaxy(contrary to the article SG was the first and only successful MMORTS and still is running today).
I guess this blogger is clueless. Wargaming.net(World of Tank makers) already announced World of Warplanes and War of Battleships which are the two other symbols...
Sigh, if only people researched before making an article.
Dead Island is good for that price. Basically its just running around bashing zombies with melee weapons or the occasional gun. SP wise it gets a tad boring and Co-op is fun if you have a friend to play with.
Why not? The game was over hyped, SP only, and after people played it they saw that it was not that amazing of a game like it was made out to be.
It's strange how different some countries are if you aren't aware. I never knew South Korea did things like this, I knew that they had a large gaming crowd but nothing as far as forcing kids to go to bed rather than play games.
