I recently built a $2,000 computer and I still don't see a huge reason to buy a SSD outside of running windows and programs like Illustrator, Chrome, etc.
For example if a game loaded in 5s on my SSD it would load in 8-12s on my HDD. Not a huge difference.
There is little to no coverage because big media companies like Fox, CNN, etc. won't report on anything that would upset their funding and private backers.
The worse part of this is possibly no more Tosh.O!!!!
Do you really think that would do anything? Our government is built around supporting big business now and if they go against what the mega corporations now then *poof* their funding is gone and they will be replaced by someone who will fall in line in their place.
I like my SSD but it isn't something that you absolutely need for a gaming PC. I only keep my normal programs and windows on my 120gb SSD. All of my games are on my 1tb HDD since it would be stupid to fill up my entire SSD with only a handful of games.
Agreed. The most enjoyable parts of Uncharted to me are the parts without the stupid waves of enemies or bullet sponge bosses.
Spoiler
I really enjoyed the flashback parts of Uncharted 3 that showed some of Drake's past as a young boy. Very well done on their part. The kamikaze ninja warriors with guns on the other hand was a big step back.
2012....
Starhawk
The Last of Us
New Guerilla Games game(E3 reveal) 2012 release
New Quantic Dreams game(E3 reveal) 2012 release
The Last Guardian
New Media Molecule game(2012 reveal) Q1 2013 release
Santa Monica game(God of War or new IP)
Twisted Metal
All of those are either confirmed or plausible.
Sort of sad since Netflix on the Wii is very bad compared to the PS3/360 or PC. The picture quality is very poor.
Witcher 2 is the better overall game, but Skyrim is up there. Witcher 2's story and setting make it the better game.
Did you watch the trailer? They are not zombies if you look at the fungus growing out of their head. Pretty much everyone knew that the game would not be based on ants, and instead focus around the fungus that takes over an ant in the teasers.
I just hope that ND steers away from the "zombie" like enemies more than what was shown in the trailer. I don't like zombie games since I have played enough of them and it is the same old same old. Would be nice for them...
Or just wait a year or two when the new xbox is released with an updated kinect...
Agreed. Every single game I own on PC(which is about 50-60) is digital and all on my HDD and fit comfortably. On consoles I have around 8 games on my ps3's hdd and then dozens of physical copies.
Who cares if they use Bing or Google? It does not really matter at all.
Final Fantasy's trailer wasn't that bad... Neither was a lot on the list if this is considered to be worse of all time.
This was obviously written by someone who doesn't play games on the PC.
For consoles Caspian is fine. But it is clear that all maps were designed for the smaller console versions, and then they just tacked on extra room for PC's larger maps with nothing on the outside parts.
Just because the game doesn't appeal to you doesn't mean that it doesn't belong during this generation of consoles. It is something different and games like this back in the day were more frequent and nice to play opposed to more "serious" games.
Chrono Trigger?
Why are people disagreeing with you? Everything you said is 100% true.
Any PC gamer without these two games(especially the second) is missing out.
I'd start playing Eve if it went F2P. I used to play for a few months, but I don't feel like spending a monthly fee for the first 1/2 year just to get my skills up to a "decent" level.
