I have a feeling that Quantic Dream's or Guerilla Game's next game will be shown during the VGA's.
They already have... It releases in December. And you would think it would release before Christmas to create more hype for those who have not purchased the game yet.
I doubt this current story line will head to Japan. It just would not make sense, although it would be cool, since every game has revolved around the Mediterranean/Middle East. For them to suddenly shift the story to Japan(remember we are playing as Desmond's ancestors) would not make sense.
AC3 will take place in Europe/Middle East again, possibly some US settings thrown in. My guess is the French Revolution since it would fit with the story. Rich and wealthy royalty(...
I think it would be smarter if Konami didn't announce this. Saying you are upgrading and making it harder will just attract some hacker to hack them to make them look stupid.

The next version of consoles just need to slap down 4gb+(8gb would be awesome) of RAM and better gpus with a slight upgrade to the cpu.
MS/Sony/Nintendo wont make a console that lasts to long since it will stagnant sales since most gamers would already own them. Better to run a 6+ year cycle and have your consumers buy multiple consoles than just 1 that lasts forever.

Since buying a new PC for gaming I have found myself buying games that I typically wouldn't before. I never thought that I would play a game like Terraria and yet it is awesome and I only got it due to tons of players raving about it.

I have a feeling that since MS does not own many studios of their own that next generation they will be more geared towards the casual audience. You can already see it happening with Kinect and their new tv integration. Windows 8 will be on the Nextbox and from the looks of it, it will be app based and more casual.

Consoles need to evolve into more than just a console. Sony tried to market it for the ps3 as the home media center and most likely will improve upon it with the ps4.
I would like like to see better internet connectivity. Not just a half working web browser, but a fully functioning browser that doesn't crash half the time.

I snagged Tropica 4 from Amazon for $12 the other day and was quite pleased.

Chat is fine unless you play on a low resolution. I play at 1080p on PC and the chat box is small.

They are pretty terrible... Took me 3 hours to download Batman while at the same time I downloaded Tropica 4 from Amazon in 15 minutes.
Who could have known that they would reuse maps from previous games? Not like they have did that several times before..
Why should they stop? It's not like the stuff they are re-balancing is making the game worse, instead it is slightly improving it every little tweak they do.
