I know you are trolling, but I love how people criticize EA during betas about their servers. Most recently during the BF3 beta people were furious during the first few days due to bugs and lag, which were then fixed later on in the beta.

When BF3 released the server side of the game was much improved since they were able to address the issues from the beta and also stress test them in a controlled situation.

It's funny how most gamers(and mostly ones ne...

RAM will have nothing to do with the cost of next gen consoles. 8gb of RAM costs $40 retail for PC(thus the retailer buying it for around $20). So that hardly raises the price. Most of the price is located in the cpu/gpu sections along with the development costs.

Another thing to keep in mind is if they do launch in 2012(doubtful) they will have to deal with the skyrocketed HDD costs due to flooding. Previously a 1tb HDD was around $80 for a good one, however now they are ...

Pretty sure that MAG and Heavy Rain are on that list. LBP2 and KZ3 will be on it soon along with Infamous 2.

@DarkTower. RAM won't cost much. Retail 8gb of RAM for the PC is around $40. You figure that they would buy in bulk, so non-retail 8gb RAM cost would be around $20-$30 and then bulk prices lower that slightly as well.

So if they do decide to future proof next gen consoles with 8gb of RAM it will not effect the price at all.

If you look up Ubisoft's DRM and the issues they have had with it then you will realize why some PC gamers avoid or pirate their games.

Personally I haven't played a Rainbow Six or Tom Clancy game in about 10 years. The franchise isn't really that great anymore. Future Soldier may prove otherwise, but I doubt I will buy it on my ps3 when I hardly touch it shooter wise anymore.

Looks like I will be waiting until they patch DX11 support.

Funny how when a developer or publisher ignores the PC they just use the piracy excuse. If your game is good and provides PC a good game it will sell well. Piracy effects every platform anyway.

Games with Battlefield and Skyrim are doing well aren't they? While CoD has taken a huge hit PC wise because it is not a PC game although it used to be. Hell a game like Terraria is doing well and while some people do pirate it, the majority of gamers have bought the game and...

He is referring to a game like COD selling well in general and not about their economic and disaster issues. You would think you would have understood that.

My personal favorite game of this year. Story was great and the game play/graphics were top notch as well. BF3 gets praise for pushing PC graphics further, but I was more impressed with The Witcher 2's(although technically they are less advanced).

While those are still issues, you can't expect them to make to many changes at once. Basically everything air related got reworked, so most likely they will see if that balances it out before boosting jets and helis even more.

Other than that IRNV is the most glaring issue along with flashlights. Mortars are fine since they are easily counterbale by switching classes, and also they are making the MAV capable of disabling a mortar in the future.

Yea that does factor into me not playing MMOs both I listed have/had a good free to play model which is why I enjoyed them. World of Tanks is another with both free to play and pay to play.

I used to play Dofus and Shattered Galaxy.. But MMO's typically don't interest me because of the grinding.

Personally I don't like Gamefly since it forces you to always be playing games. You are paying a certain amount of money per month and for Gamefly to be worth it you need to continually play games to get the next one.

It will the the French Revolution, or possibly the start of the Industrial Revolution in England. The setting in France would fit better however since the conflict fits the Assassin Creed story line well. Poor/commonwealth folks(Assassin lead) revolting against the Nobility(Templars) would make an easy setting to place the next game in.

Most likely it will be set in France(French Revolution is my guess) since it would fit with the whole Templar vs Assassin theme due to the conflict.

I doubt they venture to much out of Europe since after AC3's story ends(thus the main plot ends) they will be able to start a new story arch in a new area of the world.

Yea that was a better analogy. They still won't loose the case though since when you were charged they never stated that you would receive the free game since It was only stated at E3. It then falls to the stores selling you the game and not EA themselves to inform you of the change since EA had to have given them details of the change.

This is a stupid case by people just looking for a stupid lawsuit for money. EA already stated that the free game was replaced with the one week exclusive timed Dlc and that Sony requested it instead of the game. No way they loose this case.

It is like a customer(Sony) ordering steak at a restaurant(EA) and then telling their waiter to change the order to chicken. The customer enjoys their chicken, however the table next to them decides to write a bad review for the restau...

Oh yay and so it begins. Looks like you'll need to buy the CE for the complete experience. CE's shouldn't contain actual parts of a game. I am still holding out hope that EA doesn't fuck up ME3 but I am loosing hope everyday.

I find it sad that there are so many "Perfect" or 10/10 reviews this year. I have not played a game this year that is worth a perfect score.

Now does that mean that they are bad? No, but there is nothing wrong with 7/8/9 out of 10 in my mind. Personally I would give Uncharted 3-9, BF3-8, Skyrim-9, AC:R-7, Batman-8, Portal 2-7, Witcher 2-9.5

It's a shame that if a game gets under a 9 sometimes people bitch and complain. The closest game(as per...
