I doubt they are really concerned since WoW raked in mountains of cash for them over the years. Plus they have been working on their next big MMO for quite a while now and most likely it will be revealed either in 2012 or 2013.
So you would spend $400 to just have a console for steam games instead of spending slight more(or the same if you have a decent PC already) to get a PC that can play any PC game and do countless other things?

Personally I see at least one of if not both of Sony/Microsoft going to a different approach. I see them building a media "console" built for movies, apps, and a more general console that you can turn on and get news, facebook etc in a more fluid manner than the ps3/360. The console will be built around this first and then secondly will be for gaming.

If you read and do your homework buying a PC is can be equal to, less than, or a bit more than what you would spend during a console's lifetime. You have flexibility to design what you want and in return you don't only get a console but you get a PC that isn't just used for games.
Personally I have a ps3 and a high end PC. I buy most of my games on my PC since it is cheaper than my PS3 which I only use for games like Uncharted.

Looks like a MMO type game possibly. Post apocalyptic setting(since god forbid someone come up with a unique setting), vehicles(RAGE anyone?), and the art style reminds me of Borderlands.

Since the DLC model and pre-order crap is here to stay I hope that it will somewhat follow this sort of path. Either have small bonuses that have little to no effect on a game, for example skins for multi-player. Or if you pre-order you get a code(note: not an online pass) that guarantees you free DLC for up to 6 months after the release date.

I don't get why they are complaining about the so called bad customer support that Origin/EA has... Any problems you have you can literally go onto the support sight and get a live person to text chat to to solve your issue almost instantly.

Just because a computer is somewhat new does not mean that it was built for gaming in mind. Most general computers out there are not sold for gaming, plus Arma 2 is a game where it actually makes my $2,000 computer work hard running it.
Fail article. It doesn't even give you the full information from the forum post. There are those three options by default but can actually set the conversation mode and game play difficulty to whatever you want before you begin the game.
Well it is not really a map pack since they are adding several new weapons and vehicles along with the 4 maps. Bad Company's Vietnam expansion was not a map pack and this fits in just like that did.
Personally I like more than just new(or in this case new-old) maps since having new weapons and vehicles to play with is always a nice addition.

Well if you aren't supposed to be playing the game then of course you won't be able to use Elite under your real name/date of birth. I don't see a way for them to change the required age restriction since it would essentially go against the ESRB rating and various laws.
