I'm guessing remote play and the sharing features will all be ready day one given they've already showed these working. It will be things like the gaikai enabled demo mode and playing while downloading that probably won't make it by then.
So, 100% of core gamers and 29% of people who call themselves core gamers?
Sony, are you trying to seduce me?
It's working.
The article states that neither source knows the details nor works for either company ...I think we better be cautious with any predictions, this could be something as little as EA announcing a game at MS E3 conference or something huge or completely made up.
EA has already been hyping up the PS4 so its clearly a key part of their future. If any deal is made it will either be timed dlc (which I doubt since EA loves their excessive amounts of dlc) or kinetic excluives which I could see if MS is planning to focus in that bit of tech like it is rumored.
They should have mapped L and R to the triggers. The way it is now feels awkward to press R then follow with a button press.
I'll be using the pro controller, still getting used to the right stick and buttons being switched but I really like the feel of the controller overall.
Pay per jump.
As long as they're optional.
I don't like that you can buy stuff like weapon unlocks and such in their games, but as long as they leave me the option to just earn it, which is more fun anyway, I'm fine with that.
In the end, gamers will vote with their wallets, if it fails, we'll know it.
I think he's just throwing out a guess because he doesn't have an exact figure, it's not literal.
Wait, I'm a little confused here. Was it the "could be" that I can't be serious about? I'm just saying its possible, not likely. I do think the PS4 release this year could have been unexpected, only because Xbox has been out a year longer and PS3 still has big releases this year. Given the option, I think MS would have preferred to launch alone.
I don't think they have spy's everywhere. I'm sure they seek out as much information as they can, ...
Yeah, raided out dudes learning to walk while covered in glue sticking them to every wall they brush up against....
I really liked the first one, and the single player in all three is fun, the multiplayer died for me when everyone found out it was better to not use the cover system hardly at all and roll around like acrobats.
There won't be any hatred between gamers, just fanboys.
I'd like to see an MMO some day, released with the cost up front, maybe $100 or so, then expansions every 6 months to a year that would be priced at whatever their worth, $50ish maybe.
I feel like subscriptions turn a lot of people off of new MMO's and microtransactions all feel like pay to win.
Maybe the game won't start as huge, but as long as those expansions start rolling in, I think they'd have a good shot at maintaining a large userbase....
Could be. But I'm guessing MS was planning to release this year. They may have been suprised that the PS4 is releasing this year. I doubt they planned to go head to head with Sony. I wouldn't want to, especially not if they come with a similar price point.
Even if their console failed, they'd just stick with their portables. They're a loooong way off from software only.
But if they fix it, how will they maintain their sales numbers???
JUST KIDDING!!!
I'm sure neither console will have troubles like the RROD, at least not to that extent, always a chance for electronics to break, but I'm betting they'll be within industry standards.
That's what I thought when reading this. If they did everything on this article, when E3 came around and it was just a rehash of everything we already knew, the Internet would tear them apart.
I think that we, as gamers, should hope they can add it, even if it isn't at launch, purely because many Xbox exclusives deserve to be playable in the future. Lets face it, in 10 years we'll probably be hard pressed to find functioning Xbox 360s, there's just to much in them that goes wrong too often.
I work for an RF/Microwave components company, we work really closely with many companies during the design phases of their products, such as GPS or RF tracking devices. The amount of time it takes to make a design change is long, it can be several months and even years. Sometimes they start the redesign process (making it smaller, more efficient, etc) as soon as the original is completed.
I seriously doubt anything about the component side of the design can be changed at thi...
What world did these guys wake up in?
