ya I was really hoping for 4-player split screen too. :(
this just means that mario kart will remain my preferred kart racing game.
after playing sonic unleashed, i lost all hope for a good sonic game. I don't really care though. they can whore sonic around if it helps fund the team that did Valkyria Chronicles and Skys of Arcadia.

Damn it! i was only going to buy DD for the PSP. look what you did sega! Im going to have to buy the UMD for this game.
I've been using the analog for SF4, It was really hard at first but now that i'm used to it I don't have to worry about getting fat blisters on my thumbs. :P
still trying to get used to the analogs for Blazblue though.
The pacing in P4 was so much better than in P3, it just made the game far more enjoyable for me.
I've only played Luminous Arc 1, but it really is just a sub-par to average SRPG IMO. if you want to play a SRPG you should look into FFT, Disgaea, Jeanne d'arc, Valkyria Chronicles, Wild arms xf.
Others that should be good (that I have yet to play) are:
La Pucelle: Tactics
Front Mission series
Phantom Brave
Tactics Ogre series
I forgot about Afrika. I know this is terrible but I kind of hope it hits the bargain bins pretty quickly so I can get it. It seems like a fun game, but i don't want to spend $60 to play it. it might happen since the western review sites are going to rape that game.
I completely agree with what you said there.
games like Heavy Rain, the Agent, The last Guardian definitely won't make the 2009 release, but GT5 and MAG possibly could. those three games should have been replaced with R&C, Demons Souls, and Ninja Gaiden 2 Sigma since those are guaranteed 2009 releases.
aside from that Q1 2010 looks like its getting pretty packed with games.
agree its a good 7-7.5 game. it wasn't bad it just wasn't as good as the other high profile FPS games that came out before it. It was a fun rent especially playing the campaign with split screen.

bubbles to you for ignoring reviews and making your mind up for yourself. I'd be interested in playing it, but I'm not willing to pay $60 for a photo game, just not my thing. when the price goes down I'll check it out.

Pokemon snap was fun but looking back on it I feel completely ripped off.
obviously cayal was referring to the 360's current lack of AAA games not that this game was AAA. The game is made for a niche audience, a niche that you clearly are not in.
i don't know about you, but I adjust the controls in almost every FPS game I play; sensitivity and button mapping (if available).
I was messing around with one of these at frys. its a pretty sexy piece of hardware, but its not something i have the money for. then again I doubt that sony is really expecting you or me to buy it. Its for people in a completely different income bracket and looking to use it for very different things than me.
ya I can't believe they didn't mention Demons Souls. Its one of the best RPGs this gen.
I bought my DS specifically for pokemon. was my first handheld ever. i played the older ones on my friends gameboy and on emulators, but the DS was my first handheld.
Anyway I've been wanting a pokemon MMO for years now or at least a full fledged open world console pokemon RPG. none of the battle stadium crap.
sigh, if people stoped buying these "new" pokemon games maybe they would actually evolve the game to something better.
I'm with you on that. If the next gen of gaming is cloud than i'll only be playing older games. although even if microsoft and sony do cloud gaming next gen I'm fairly certain nintendo won't. so maybe I'll just be gaming on a nintendo system next gen.
