wow great review coming from eurogamer. now if only we could get a release date for the states.
what about noby noby boy, pixel junk games, flOw/flOwer, echochrome, Mirrors edge, LBP, Valkyria Chronicles, portal, Bioshock, persona.
Actually I had a big problem with the camera. I think it needs to cover a wider view because I can never figure out whats going on around me. Also given the view they chose while Aiming it really didn't make sense why you couldn't move. either way it doesn't matter to me since RE died when 4 was released in my eyes. It doesn't seem much of a survival game anymore.
If nintendo brings over Fragile, Fatal Frame, and Disaster I will buy a Wii, until then nintendo isn't getting any of my money.
Maybe if you are on the slowest speed class but the higher up you go in speed class the better the game gets.
and lol at the article saying only one difficulty setting someone hasn't played the game.
you must be new to gaming, that really the only explanation. I wouldn't even expect this from an X-bot thats been gaming for a decent number of years.
this game has southpeak's name stamped on it so its pretty much guaranteed to be crap regardless of what platform it come out on.
honestly I wouldn't mind if Heavy Rain was delayed to 2010, my wallet is going to be hurting enough as is and I would really like to finally get a PSP this year.
I've owned every console since the Nes but i will never buy a 360. even if they manage to fix the RROD i won't buy one. I can't believe people actually support these types of business practices. The Wii is a better console than the 360 as far as I'm concerned. I'll probably buy a wii when the price drops. I'm not willing to spend the $250 + $60x3 (wiimotes and nunchucks).
That's the worst mentality. Seriously not getting a game because it doesn't support trophies? You should get games because they are good not because they have trophies. Disgusting!

Consumers for the most part are stupid. they look at what is going to cost them the least now and not what it is going to cost them in the long run. Now you and I might be informed consumers when it comes to deciding which console will best fit our needs, but most aren't.
I wonder if that $300 will be enough to cover the lawsuit he's going to be slapped with?
Top of my list is WKC and Heavy Rain.
I'm sure Infamous will be good since its made by Sucker Punch, but I don't really like sandbox games. Although if I have the money I might pick it up if for no other reason it was made by Sucker Punch.
I haven't played it so I have no opinion. Ofcourse most gamers on forums will blindly bash any game they haven't played as long as it meets one of the following criteria:
1) The game was met with low review scores.
2) The game was met critical praise.
you see "gamers" today don't actually play games, they read reviews and threads online about games and think they have an opinion.
I don't think its that the Japanese games are not as good as they use to be but rather the console gaming landscape has completely changed since last gen. The big genre now has shifted from RPGs to FPSs. Western Developers clearly have the advantage with the latter. I don't recall any Japanese FPS games come to think of it. also A lot of games are really starting to blur the lines between genres something japanese games haven't been doing. The Japanese just haven't changed with the landscape ...
thats great I loved the anime but never followed through with the games. i'll be keeping an eye on this though.
I don't know who would think artsy games should get a free ride, but they certainly need to be looked at differently that a game like halo.
Even if the whole game was grey, they did it so well I wouldn't mind.
I was in the beta and the Beta graphics easily wowed me. maybe you just have unrealistic expectations?
I think I'll cry when the wii sells more consoles than the PS2. Nintendo did one hell of a marketing job this gen.
