Great suggestion!!!
Yep update killed the Bladerunner ads mod I use. Still works but kills the audio. Hopefully a quick fix. Shame the update didn't include any new adverts.
Oh you naughty person! In one instance you complain about MS destroying the industry with its acquisition plans, then, as a consumer decide not to purchase a clearly awesome deserving game on day 1 and wait until it's cheap leaving the dev with less Ka-ching!
Ouch!
(only teasing u)
@Profchaos, "The Life of Phil".
What you on about. The separator is the massive AD they placed between them. LOL.
Yeh this seems to be the common theme among those already playing. If you look at the character build planner you can already sense that it's quite different than before.
According to one of the devs better make sure it has good cooling.
I won't be needing a review to tell me whether I want this or not.
Quote "Running the game via an SSD offers a much smoother experience. However, the game has moments of high CPU usage pushing the i5 13700K up to 90 degrees momentarily when playing uncapped. It often peaks over 80 degrees when playing with Vsync enabled especially when transitioning. The average temp is around 70 degrees which is fine. "
Totally not a good sign at all. Poor PR this. It also means they need to spend some more time optimizing. They can ill-afford a second disastrous launch and 2 further years to fix things up.
Apparently the audio issue is caused by the game loaded on a HDD rather than SSD.
I am finding her quite likeable. I hope modders do something with the outfit though. I can't stand her overly confident matter of fact way she speaks either. She does look pretty when sleeping on the ship.
Solution. Disable voice chat. Say whatever you like then.
IKR, this isn't news at all.
These VideoGamer submissions should really be marked as Adverts.
Yeh, it's at this point where anyone from Bethesda needs to just shut-up and let the game do the talking. Take note of other games being hyped too much before launch and be somewhat humble about it. All these anecdotal comments are likely to be shot down when the game is in the wild.
If you listen they do give quite a lot away which either means they have spoiled quite a bit, or they are super confident there's lots more they haven't talked about. Watching this, I will warn others it's massively spoilerish. So avoid if that's an issue for you.
Yeh I noticed that too, which means regardless of any affiliate linkage sales, they are getting our clicks to the article here on N4G (loads of ads if you don't want to use adblock), also click to Videogamer, getting ad revenue from N4G and Videogamer in a triple whammy ads extravaganza.
I am tempted to report this as LAME, but would probably get reprimanded by Christopher (the submitter) for doing so.
Sure, when you can actually play it!
