I agree with the sentiment that Redfall was a chance for MS to prove that gamepass does have quality games from 1st party developers. Except it failed and casts doubt over its future endeavours. I think that mindset is understandable once bitten twice shy. Starfield is an entirely different beast though but people's expectations are too high especially with the drip fed content we're getting. One game can't turn around MS failing Xbox division. After Redfall, I think they need a r...
Another apologetic article for this game.
AS seen in the review of all reviews, this game is Gamepass fodder and a sign of how that business model plans to move forwards. Less quality for small bucks from gamers. PC gamer did a comparison of Prey and Redfall, and instantly you can see the poor development of Redfall. What a sorry state of affairs. But are Gamepass gamers gonna complain if they only paid £1-£10 to play the game? Is this the state of decay in MS's Xbox division? This is the worry. But I bet there are 100...
That was his error if you watch after that. Seems like he thought the game hadn't saved. It had, but put him back at the fire-station rather than the last Safe House.
The bottom line is, with all reviews there are always going to be the outlier reviews either scoring way higher than the average (for clicks) or way lower than the average (for clicks) and some just having a different set of review rules than the majority (not for clicks).
I agree everyone is entitled to an opinion, but...if you're going to present yourself as a pro reviewer, rather than just a mere commenter with an opinion, then you owe it to your audience to be hones...
Totally agreed with every thing you said. Shameful performance for a 4090.
@shadowsteal, why should a PC gamer give a toss about Playstation 5 gamers having the game ahead of them. PC gamers don't sit there in envy of PS5 owners - I think that's the fallacy behind your reasoning. There are lots of games on PC to play.
Well that's a bit of a broad and silly statement to make "multiple times better" than the PCVR version because, PCVR systems are all different. So yeh might look better than on a min spec PC using a Quest 2, or Rift, but what about top spec PC using a HP Reverb G2 or Valve Index with added super-sampling? Also, if using some other trickery (aside from if using foveated rendering), then share the love with the PC community rather than belittle them, nah mean?

open your eyes masterfox, I think that has been happening for quite some time.
This game released years ago, but I believe they recently overhauled it.
Welcome to the 2020s.
Lol CP 2077 is one of the easiest and less detailed editors around. It's all a mish-mash of presets.
Yep one of the best.
LMAO - Author has the cheek to write and I quote:
"I recall reviewing The Last of Us Part 2 ahead of release and had friends accusing it of transphobia and other offensive ideas without even playing it, taking headlines and leaks at face value instead of having the critical patience to see things for themselves. "
Except here we are with an article doing just that.
@christopher What the HELL with these annoying ads on N4G forcing people to use Ad block? Any how, VR is awesome and a slow burner. That's over 300K experiencing the future of gaming, today.

Beta/gamma males in the comments lol.
It does and I've been following him for some years. He's got a nice house in London paid from his 70 million views on YT. Has a nice wife, travels the world. Drives an Audi A5 convertible all through gaming. Likes a bit of p8rn. What's your point?
They probably already have a team working on Resi 9. Game development isn't quick and takes several years.
Bottom line is everyone has their favs. I guess it's really hard to make a definitive list pleasing everyone. I mean the absence of a Persona game in this list is criminal, but that's just my opinion.
